Feeling extremely nervous, not because of the interview, but because it's in the building where I used to work about 2 years ago. I'll definitely bump into ex colleagues. "hello captgut what are you doing here" :/

You don't have to small talk with them or fill them in, hugs. You can just state you're just passing through, at an interview, anything that's comfortable for you.

I have felt something like that before on occasion but it's not just my arms it's all of me, like my whole body is huge like some macy's day parade balloon thing and I'm afraid if I open my eyes I'll find I'm filling up the entire room. It feels strange and scary when it happens.

Green milk tea! I love it. Different taste from matcha (which is green tea grown in shade which results in different tea chemicals or something), but IDK how to describe the difference in taste.

Random song I found:

"My Silver Lining"

I don't want to wait anymore I'm tired of looking for answers
Take me some place where there's music and there's laughter
I don't know if I'm scared of dying but I'm scared of living too fast, too slow
Regret, remorse, hold on, oh no I've got to go
There’s no starting over, no new beginnings, time races on
And you've just gotta keep on keeping on
Gotta keep on going, looking straight out on the road
Can't worry 'bout what's behind you or what's coming for you further up the road
I try not to hold on to what is gone, I try to do right what is wrong
I try to keep on keeping on
Yeah I just keep on keeping on

I hear a voice calling
Calling out for me
These shackles I've made in an attempt to be free
Be it for reason, be it for love
I won't take the easy road

I've woken up in a hotel room, my worries as big as the moon
Having no idea who or what or where I am
Something good comes with the bad
A song's never just sad
There's hope, there's a silver lining
Show me my silver lining
Show me my silver lining

I hear a voice calling
Calling out for me
These shackles I've made in an attempt to be free
Be it for reason, be it for love
I won't take the easy road

I won't take the easy road
The easy road, the easy road

Show me my silver lining, I try to keep on keeping on
Show me my silver lining, I try to keep on keeping on
Show me my silver lining, I try to keep on keeping on
Show me my silver lining, I try to keep on keeping on

I just spent over 2 hours on the phone with my health insurance company. Now is one of those times when I want to break everything in freakin' sight. It's stunning to me how they can **** claims up so consistently...and then consistently **** up reprocessing them.

You know I come on this forum and I read people mention good things about their therapy and therapist.. and I think to myself "I could really use a T right now. Then I just go take a look at a thread or 2 and think why in the world would I want a T? I don't need that drama back in my life. I think for me it's about wanting more substance in my life. Which confirms it's not a T I need. It's activities to occupy my time to make my life feel more fulfilled. I need to find a way to make some friends or find some activities to do where I can make some friends.

I hope that the insurance company gets everything straightened out soon.

Do you have a community center in your vicinity? That may be a good place to start. And of course, we're here for you.

im worried about this stuff. what i'm studying is how to make and write insurance claims, which if done correctly really makes everything easier for everyone... i don't want to cause scenarios for people like this

Jersey, if they have Meetup.com in your area, I'd give it a try. I belong to a women's group in the 4 towns that surround me and we do all kinds of stuff...dinners, movies, happy hours, football games etc.....

Good luck!

I would not be happy if someone told me to shut up. It also depends on the context, like if I am purposefully annoying someone and they are laughing and telling me to shut up, I probably wouldn't be offended. But from what you described your H doing, oh Helllll no! I do think you should bring it up in MC.
