Yes I can be fired if I don't declare and they find out. There's no antidiscrimination thingy with workplace accommodations like in the USA. The govt application form explicitly asks and I work in govt haha. I was just lucky because I got hired before I got diagnoses.

I got some secondhand advice by someone with friends working in the govt of my nation. Might be better if I resign rather than seek a transfer. Either way I'm going to keep looking for jobs. Thinking contract positions might suit me better. I know I can't request to be transferred down to a lower grade or to part time - it won't reduce my existing workload. Someone suggested going far away from my sector in government. But I think IT has the same problems everywhere. Though maybe a new place will not have entitled VIPs yelling down the phone at me and too entitled to go dial phone numbers themselves.

I curse how I have to declare my MH condition no matter what I do. Yet I'm so incredibly lucky to be given time off once a month for my therapy...few get such a good deal. Most just don't get hired.

I hate it when ppl who've never had sui thoughts joke about SH, suicide etc...some very explicitly. Especially dislike people insulting persons with psychosis, chronic mental health issues etc. Ughhh, wish I could...cause them to trip and fall.

Wow today seems to be "Scold QM" day at work. A VIP didn't read my followup emails and blasted another colleague who is blameless. Said colleague called me on the phone as he was pretty dang upset at being wrongly blamed. I cleared things up with that colleague, but three other colleagues are now involved and Mr VIP is kicking up a huge storm.

In the first place, I know nothing about VPN issues and WTF is wrong with his smartcard. Neither did I know who was assigned to his case, the status of said case and actions taken. I tried my best to ask around and find out and updated him with the information my IT engineers told me, but Mr VIP wants his VPN sorted in A DAYYY...

I'm such a useless sack of ****ing ****. I get good people into trouble too, in addition to being worthless useless trash.

Got an email with an invitation to a job interview. I looked through the vacanсy, and i'm definitely don't have enough experience. And also their office is too far...How to answer? "Sorry, i'm too dumb"?

Definitely not easy to give it up. I keep weighing the pros and cons and dang it, I don't want to admit defeat. I'm already a failure to my immediate and extended family, I don't want to be a bigger disappointment. I don't want to face another six months of unemployment living on savings and getting berated every day if I quit without a job lined up. And a part of me really doesn't want to let go of the service I render in this job.

If it's too får for the commute to be feasible, I'd decline. How long a commute are you willing to tolerate?

But then I'm terrified of going unfamiliar places too far from a train station.

Regarding experience, I agree with Demunie that it's still worthwhile if you've less experience than they ask for. If it's really a deal breaker, you'd just not be hired, but often people do accept less years of experience.

Oh and what I wanted to add (sorry, was typing while walking): maybe far away wouldn't be too bad... you'd have a reason to move out

So tired from a 11 hour work day. I'm glad it was mostly at my desk. I ate pizza for lunch, yay pizza. No appetite for dinner but I'll have some bread or have some yoghurt. I paid my parents what I owed the father for my room repaint. Going to have ice cream this upcoming weekend with my younger brother.
