I think going to the Uni if that helps you not melt down is a good strategy. Maybe you could put that on the list of things that help

Also do the thing where I combine two things... in my head Brahms' Piano Concerto no. 1 always has the cadenza from Schumann's stuck in the middle.

I'll shut up now about music though, sorry, it's just what I do all day. *gives the couch back*

Ok so my song.. from the 70's sung by a woman, in the tempo and tone of Charlene "I've never been to me" ... the song in my head has a line that is something like bringing me back to the place where I started once again....or similar...

Anyone??

Hi couch.

I am on Spring Break! Yay! Still have CVS, but no school job. Still have my master's classes, but eh. Still one less thing for the week is a break to me.

Have 2 hours before I have to leave for CVS tonight. I am at 40 hours this week, more hours being on break.

I was up till 5:30am last night (er, this morning) working on my final paper and ppt for my current master's course. I then decided to retire to bed only to wake up to my phone mewing (my text tone is a cat) several times at 10:30am when I received several messages. Oh well, 5 hours is still some sleep.

So, I got back on the computer and finished my work as well as my part of this week's team assignment. I am now done with all my work for this course that ends Monday. Now just to wait for things to be graded.

For those who remember, I went to the urgent care about a week and half-ish ago bc i was peeing blood, and had bad pain in my side the night before. Doctor thought it was likely kidney stones, which didn't surprise me as I've had them before. Pain never came back, but have been peeing CONSTANTLY since.

The urgent care said to follow up with my doc in a week, and I saw her yesterday. The urine they tested at urgent care showed no infection, but this urine was full of bacteria and white cells. I immediately was like OMG, DO I HAVE CANCER!? (I am a slight hypochondriac) She was like "No, it means there is an infection."

Anyway, she said if the medication isn't making it better by Friday to call back. As of right now, it hasn't really been any better

Now I am convinced I have kidney cancer.

On a different/but related note, my co-worker had to go home last tuesday bc she started getting severe pain in her side and i was like "Omg, go to the doctor, that is exactly what i felt" and she ended up in the ER it was so bad. Apparently her stones have dissolved, but she has to stay on pain meds until she passes it all

What else is weirder is that last time I had kidney stones, ANOTHER co-worker just had them the week before, and she also had to go to the ER the pain was so bad.

Strange. Especially since my pain even when I passed the kidney stones a few years ago wasn't that bad.

Velcro, where do you live, Flint? Jk. Seriously, maybe your work building has issues. I once worked at a place where they told us not to drink out of the building water fountains, and this was over 20 years ago.

Velcro, it takes two or three days for antibiotics to generally do their trick. Give it another day or two and you'll probably start feeling better.

My kidney stone issue sent me immediately to the ER. I knew right away something was definitely not right and the pain was excruciating. My poor son took me and had to witness that until they got pain meds on board. Glad to hear your kidney stone wasn't quite that painful. It's no fun either way.

Velcro - if you have the same symptoms today and the test a few days ago was evidence of an infection, presumably you still don't have cancer.

I am not a doctor and I may well be wrong about this but the only cancers I know of for sure associated with a high white blood cell count are cancers of the blood (one of which killed my father).

So maybe just try to relax and remember what the doctor said?

Velcro, my daughter in law had a kidney stone last year and it was so bad for her. It hurts my heart for you! I so hope you get relief and feel better.

I looked up what you may could do along with the antibiotics you are taking and found this.

http://www.globalhealingcenter.com/n...kidney-stones/

Lemon juice and apple cider vinegar are amazing for many things.

Just wanted to try and help.

(((Get better hug)))

Hey guys,

I'm having an angiogram or arteriogram Monday. I've had them before but he's going through my wrist instead of leg. If the cardio doesn't need to place a stent I can come home the same day. If he places a stent, then I need to stay a day or two.

I don't have a good feeling about it. I don't know what would give me a good feeling.
