Omg, that's adorable!

(ETA: the dog, not the penguins/tim tams... I should really stop refraining from quoting...)

Mmmmm, galaxy chocolate is really good. Penguins aren't anything that special though, in my opinion! Except for being used as straws, of course...

Solid move, artemis! I hope your swim was/is nice!

I promised myself that if I went to yoga after work I could have a bowl of ice cream and watch stupid TV for the rest of the night, and I went to yoga so that's what I'm doing right this very second

I'm scared, though, 'cause I can feel the awfulness creeping up but I can't tell if it's going to consume me and make me useless tomorrow or if maybe I might be okay or what (*huddling under blankets*)

Hopefully no to the awfulness, but a huge yes to ice cream and stupid TV. What type of stupid do you prefer?

Thankfully I got to school today before the storm started, but when it started it was bad. Saw a tree get uprooted right outside of my window. It was scary, and I'm kind of on edge now, but no full blown flashback! I'll take that as a success!

Now I'm going to watch Netflix and eat dinner before bed. Tomorrow and then Spring Break!

Current brand of stupid is a re-watch of the Gilmore Girls; other feelin-down-time stupidities include Community and Star Trek and ALL THE DISNEY MOVIES and things of that nature.

Good for you Art! I know nothing about drumming and just looked up drum circles and saw a few different ones but am unclear what the purpose of a drum circle is? Is it just to make music? For religious expression? Hope you don't mind the questions. Thanks in advance for enlightening me.

In the group I belong to, it's mostly for the purpose of shamanic journeying. The drumbeat alters your brain waves to like when you're dreaming, to communicate with your deepest self/spiritual self/spirit guides to retrieve information. It's also useful for dream work - something we do a lot of in my therapy - yesterday I did a quick dream re-entry (the dream was about my mother) to ask her why she wouldn't do something in the dream. I got a pretty deep answer that I'm still thinking about! T has drummed for me before several times, so that's why I felt a little intimidated last night. But I did it. Anyways I know this is too woo-woo for some, but I love it.

So it turns out when I am filled with anxiety, insomnia and anger.. I take to fb and get into political arguments. It's kind of fun actually lol.

Ugh.. just not in a good place.
