That makes sense I suppose. Well, it wouldn't be a job if we'd do it for free

So my day was all right. Nothing terribly exciting happened, so my anxiety was misplaced this morning. Now I'm just terribly depressed. Can't pinpoint why.

I get what I call a rebound depression when I have put myself on high alert for a non existent reason and nothing comes of it. I think it has something to do with excess adrenaline and what ever it degrades to.

Atat, I wouldn't either...I am in a similar position w/cat, only watching the Golden Girls instead of baseball.

Here is a picture of her at the vet's yesterday (just for a checkup/shots):

That actually makes really good sense. Perhaps what that is, because there's no reason for this depression. I'm on vacation next week and I couldn't care less right now.

Aww, thank you! She's a big sweetheart. Loud though...very big talker. Loves to clean herself (more than most cats) as well. I think she knows she's beautiful!

One of new cat's oddities is that not only is it a struggle to get her into the carrier to go to the vet, it is a struggle at the vet's to get her back into her carrier to go home. Every other cat I know dives for the carrier as soon as they can, but new cat hates the carrier more than being at the vet.

One of my cats is this way as well. Last time that we were leaving the vet, she was not happy to go home. I have the scar to prove it

I'm still exhausted from floor walking all last week, and newly wiped out from the stress of the project calls this week! I am in serious need of replenishment. Hoping there's something going on w my drumming group this weekend. Wish t still did saturday appts cuz I'd ask to come tomorrow if she did. I'm afraid to drum right now I'd probably pound a hole in the poor thing. Haha. I think. I need to calm way the hell down...

I went back and looked and now it occurs to me what a terrible therapy-depicting stock photo that is. Why is the therapist apparently writing on a page that is already covered in text?

My brakes failed and I'm stranded 90 miles from home with all the auto shops closed, missing $400 worth of freelance work, the only stuff I have all week. My account will be totally cleared out to do the repair, new pads, caliper, rotor... and so I have to cancel therapy, too, I've absolutely nothing left to pay the bill. I don't even have enough to rent a car.

Don't know why I'm typing this here. No where else to turn to I guess. I think this is the bottom. I lost my home in August and I'm tired.

I particularly identify with all the questions about the wine.

It kinda sounds amusing to write a list of random things I sometimes wonder about t.

Why do you wear black every time I see you? Is it just for me, because you're depressed to have to deal with me? Or are you color blind and that's the only color you see? What IS it exactly, that you like about that creepy picture hanging next to your door?

This is easier than I thought.

What are you thinking about really? Do you smoke weed and that's why you were burning incense when I got there the other day? Did you bring that table in your office just to make a bigger space between us? Have you ever lied to me?

Should this be a separate thread??!

Doesn't the time run for 50 minutes (or whatever the set amount is) regardless of the clock's time?
I mean - if the therapist opens the door when the clock says 3:05 - would not still go to 3:55? (on a 50 min hour)
I use the woman's clock - I walk in at X:01 and walk out at X:50. If the woman's clock was set 5 min different from mine - I would simply go in 5 min earlier than what my clock said.

I'm having healthy carrots instead of wine. I think in my current super-stressed-out mood alcohol would not be good.

Why is that therapist that close to the client and sitting above her?
I find that more disturbing than crotchals.

My T has his clock set 15 minutes ahead so he knows when to wrap things up. Don't know why he doesn't for the client's clocks, though.

I don't let the therapist wrap anything up. One of them tried it one time - I told them to stop - I will deal with the time, I know how much I am buying, and to stop being so patronizing.

I thought she was looking at the notepad, but I also didn't like the idea of a t sitting that close. Even for someone like me who pretty much adores t, that's too close. Only time I want her that close is either 1) for a hug or 2) standing next to each other looking at a sand tray I've just made. Other than that, I like the distance between the couch and her chair. I didn't like the table in between when she first brought it in, but I've come to appreciate it now because I have someplace to set my notebook.

How else will they physically assert their superiority in the relationship?

See, that's what therapists really don't want you to know.
