Today I came home to a notice of a certified letter from her waiting at the local PO. It can only be a termination letter. More than six months afterwards?!

I swear this must be a page in the therapist handbook: when a client you know you've wronged asks for closure, either ignore them or send them a termination letter, thus reopening the wounds you caused.

Oh well, she just guaranteed herself a complaint.
What the heck is wrong with these t's?!

I am joining the slumber party and attempted anyway to paint my nails. The stubby things that pass for nails on my hands, that is. Which looking at this picture I see are very ugly. Would getting an actual manicure help with how ugly my hands are?! No wonder my h never wants to hold my hand.

They don't like being reminded they are human and make mistakes that cause damage?

And in her case, she may be upset I made a complaint against her buddy Smaug.

Plus side, as soon as I read the notice I let loose a string of Greek curse words instead of just bursting into tears.

Aw, Art. If he is holding your hand he can't see it. I doubt that the look of your hands have anything to do with it.

No. 2 and my XT must've went to the same T school. So sorry that happened to you as well. What is wrong with these people? Move forward with that complaint.

I didn't take a whole lot of pictures today like I wanted to. Instead I took a long walk on the beach and had a really good talk with a friend along the way. It was a great day! Looks like the couch is enjoying painting their nails and sharing their feelings.

Even my T, whom I consider to be generally very good has shown signs of this when I have discussed the impact of T1 on me. Like it was hard for him to hear how much T1 hurt me because it reminded him of the power he has to damage his clients. I had to have a word with him, and while he was apologetic, I told him this is what I call the us and them attitude of the profession.
It frustrates me so much and I have promised myself I will never be that way.

I had my first gel manicure a week ago, and so far I am not very impressed with how well it is holding up. Already one chip and maybe my nails just grow fast? Idk. My cousin had hers done at the same place by the same person a few days before I had mine; I will be seeing her at a family dinner tomorrow & I am curious how well hers have held up as opposed to mine. Anyway, here was what they looked like freshly manicured (holy crap, I have dry hands, b/c I wash them a billion times a day):

(((Elsewhere))) oooh you have lovely hands and nails! I practiced for nail school on my gf. She had such GORGEOUS nails, i always teased her that when she died, she should leave her nails (and hair) to beauty school! You could too. I cut mine to the quick. Its from needing fingerpads with no nails for when i was a computer programmer.

Thanks, I'm a little annoyed at him but he might email me tomorrow. I guess it's because I told him I would email today that I was expecting a response. I don't feel awful, but I feel like stamping my feet a bit.

Really? Yikes, thanks!

Though if I have my FB so that only my friends can see my posts, it should be OK, right? Like non-friends can see my profile pic and...whatever that pic is called at the top, but this isn't my profile pic.

It means that if one of your facebook friends wanted to (and I very much doubt that they ever would, but it's worth knowing if you want your posts here to be totally anonymous) they could use google to find out where else you had posted the photo on the internet, and it would lead them here.

I don't know? It might be okay because you can only see attached pics if you're signed in to PC.
So essentially neither pics posted here in the way you have here, nor your private fb posts would come up on a Google search. Easy way to tell: right click your pic and click "search Google for this image".
