I regret my words haha because maybe I was bitter about my dad of that same generation because he recently called me useless.

I don't think we'll revert it because we're pouring in serious money (think millions) for certain business critical applications to factor in the change.

Hugs. I hope T will be able to help you today. What might soothe your distress when you're at university?

Gosh... Reading how "stupid" companies can be makes me angry.
I don't think you/our generation is useless and incompetent. We just have other abilities , strengths and weaknesses than the previous ones

Not sure... it's just harder (aka impossible) to have a meltdown when other people are around. T asked me multiple times what would help me feel better when I saw him last. I still don't have an answer to that

So tired of being called the strawberry generation by Baby Boomers lol. My father has had a great career all his life. He has never been expected to work overtime without pay or work 60+ hours making less than $3.50 an hour. He paid off his housing loan really quickly. Our generation on the other had can have Masters, PHD but still have no choice but to work min wage, can't afford a home etc. But apparently his generation is the best and mine is lazy and useless.

Funny how my sister defended my father when I complained about him calling me useless, but is now venting on about how she's hurt by something awful he said to her... I just feel Shea great at invalidating me.

I tend to somehow not fall apart when people are around me as well. At the most it's a silent meltdown then the smile gets reapplied.

It's OK to not have answers, although it can be such a painful place to be. Often I don't know what helps either. If talking on the couch helps, talk away

Less than 3.50$ an hour? :O I guess we have a similar problem here. Everyone needs to have a master to get hired, so now everyone is doing a master and they aren't really worth anything anymore...

Sorry your sister is invalidating you... I wonder if she's realizing what she's doing

Yeah, too many degree graduates and masters graduates.

Nah, she doesn't realise. I'm too chicken to tell her. The twin thinks he's some kind of lifecoach , telling me not to be a doormat.

How rich coming from people who literally used rattan canes on me lol. Sorry grumpy...

Hugs... Don't worry, you seem to have the same kind of sarcastic humor I have

I'm listening to hollywood undead - bullet right now (would post a youtube link, but I'm on my phone and too lazy). It's not usually my type of music, but I think it's fitting...

Damn, I can relate to that song. Sometimes I listen to angry death metal to calm down, or "angsty" music when I have sadness I can't let out.

The minimum wage in our Socialist Paradise is $15 an hour.

And our student loans are interest free for resident citizens.

Ever have that moment where there is a part of a song in your head and you can't quite grab enough of it to remember the whole thing or find it on the interwebs... but for some reason you feel it is important. What's worse is there is another song that is playing over top of this one in my head and so every time I think I'm getting a bit more of the first song, the second one starts back up. ughh.

It's like my own internal mashup
