No dishwasher. I live alone and I've never had one so I don't know what I'm missing.

I have one and don't use it. Saves money, burns calories. My parents had one but only used it after a party or some such event. Kids were dishwashers was their philosophy.

I did use it when I was married. Eh. I don't miss it.

Ooh, another insomnia poll: do you like your ice cream firm or melty? I adore melty.

Thanks for this!

Hahaha, this is something my dad might say! I had to teach him when I was in high school, that you don't "dish" someone, you "diss" someone. He never fully picked up on it. There are some things gramatically that I never correct him on, because he was only high school educated, and he was a teen who did not care about school. Though, I am not going to lie, Automagically might be my new favorite "word."

I have briefly had a dishwasher for a few years, living with a friend. IT WAS GLORIOUS, mainly because I grew up without one, and was the main dishwasher as my chore.

For the past 6ish years, I haven't had one, and I live alone, so create minimal dishes. I don't mind that I don't have one now, but if I lived with other people/ate and cooked more often, I probably would wish I had one.

It might be like how I REALLY wish I had cruise control for the few times a year I drive 8 hours back to NY, but generally around town, it doesn't bother me.
Thanks for this!

Lol, a kid (guy) I went to elementary school with requested to be friends on FB. I accept and start looking at his profile, and see his relatives...his mom is a frequent customer at my CVS (guess she has a different last name than him). Lol. Small world.

If you'd put it in English, you would have been flagged for obscenity. No win!

Oooh, I missed the ice cream poll!

Melty--not soup-y (though I DO like it a bit soupy at the very end), but nice and soft and mixable to other toppings that may be in there.
Thanks for this!

Crap...it is almost midnight and I just now realize that I never took my evening meds. Hmmmm....is it too late to take them now? I am kind of thinking that I should, but it is well past time. Decisions, decisions. Pdoc is going to kill me.

Twinkle, twinkle little pill.
Do I let you do your will?
White and round and tiny still,
From the bottle near the sill.
Twinkle, twinkle little pill.
Do I let you do your will?

I have a dishwasher; I just got a new one a few months ago, but had a very old model before that. I loathe doing dishes, so for me it's very appreciated (and definitely used).

As for ice cream, I like mine on the firm side.

Okay....maybe I need to head to bed. I am not tired though, but I do feel weird. Maybe I should just take my evening meds already.

My father is terrible at all things grammar. He is much more math-oriented. I am sadly not.
