90% of the time all you need to do when someone is moaning to you about something/sad about something is say "s**t, I'm sorry, that sucks". That's all. Seriously.
Thanks for this!

It's good practice. I did much better when I worked retail back in college; I do remember how I became a lot less shy during that time. In fact, I don't think I started having a real issue with this kind of thing until I became depressed (several years ago now).

I honestly don't really feel bad just wish people would stay out of my mind. What happened to privacy!! My roommates just left for church so at least I'm alone now

Is your T on vacation or something?

Sorry if this is stupidly obvious, but perhaps your change of meds isn't working for you all that well? I mean, you say you don't feel that bad but having people invading your mind sounds pretty horrible to me.

Not seeing him tomorrow 'cos it's a bank holiday. Apparently that's the same thing as a T-holiday.

So, yeah, he's on a one-day vacation, and it happens to be the day I see him on. And the only other free slot he had was Thursday morning and I have supervision then.

Sorry you're mission a session. So will you see him on next Monday?

My therapist said my meds are making me delusional because I increased the antidepressant. We agreed that I will cut it down 5mg and reevaluate next time

Well... I'm glad you and T are working on it. I hope the cutting down helps.

Yeah I'll see him next Monday. Also he said I can email him tomorrow.

I HATE thunderstorms, too!! When a bad one or one with tornado potential is headed our way, you'll find me texting my daughter to get her and grandson's shoes on...and to get in a safe place. She practically yawns back at me and says, "Ohhh, mommmmm..." lol

I found an app called "periscope" that lets you follow tornado and storm chasers in real time. Plus, 'periscope' will notify you with a whistle sound just to let you know you might want to get online and watch what they're doing, etc.

DD says, "But you hate storms!" I think they are exciting sometimes as long as they are not headed MY way. DD is perplexed. Lol

I love thunderstorms, but hate loud fireworks. Go figure. I guess because one is nature, the other is man-made. My favorite time of year in the desert is coming... monsoon.

I'm watching on lightningmaps.org... there's an absolutely massive storm heading this way. I don't know how much of it will actually pass over my city though.

I'd quite like to hide in my basement but I can't go down there because it's full of spiders... BATTLE OF THE PHOBIAS I hate my brain so much sometimes.

I hate fireworks too. And basically anything that makes a loud noise.

I think it's because I was a cat in a past life.

That's also why I like sleeping a lot and sitting in patches of sunshine and having my chin scratched and licking my bum... oh wait no, not that last one. Sorry.

Oh I really want to take a psychology class now!! This seems to explain in part why I keep on circling back to the same thing over and over again in therapy. Hmm. How fascinating.

The pastor of the church that is located at the corner of my street came to knock on my door to try and recruit us. He was a nice man. But I felt it was a bit intrusive. I let him inside my home. He asked me if I'm going to heaven.
