This is a chatty thread. All are welcome. We're kind of psychologically oriented, sometimes. We try to be supportive. At times we discuss what that means.

It’s a place to plop down on the couch when you come home from work or wherever, or wake up in the middle of the night, or check in at lunch, rant a bit or not, and be among friends.

We advise you not to drink or drug and text your therapist ("T") - we speak from experience...

Sometimes the thread moves fast and you might get overlooked; sometimes it moves slowly and all you hear are crickets. Sometimes you get hugged or thanked pages later. So if it's a bigger question, you might want to start a new thread.

Like the title, LZ and una. Though Hyginus means healthy, not freshly showered, una.

I just had either the second worst therapy session of my life (after the last DBC session) or I finally found a therapist who will stand up to me (though that might not be a desideratum).

This place is a little drippy and dusty and it kind of gives me the creeps but I'm sure after a few cushions it'll be very nice. Maybe some candles too.

If we're going to be hanging out with a dead pope, can we at least get a pretty sarcophagus for the body? Or what is left of it?

And get rid of cobwebs and such? As SD says, cleanliness is next to godliness, so surely the pope would appreciate being somewhere nice and clean.

I dunno...I kind of like the Couch being located somewhere in the damp, dank, cobwebby, claustrophobic catacombs under St. Peter's.

Maybe we could build a tunnel into the Vatican and steal some nice art to pretty up the catacombs? Too bad Michelangelo's David is in Florence.

Katydid story: hurricane Irene hit the week after I moved here. This is how I found out that the fireplace in my apartment was a functioning one: the previous renters had left the floo open and all the soot blew in, along with seven katydids that were living up there I guess. I spent the rest of the day catching them in teacups and letting them go

I know I said I was going to **** off but I am under a pressure with my uni and I am ome tutoring my youngest via distance ed and that is more stressful than I thought it would be, and then there is T...
So I am still here mainly because you all are fantastic and a little bit of the other.
