Maybe this is weird but I'm also really impressed by those of you struggling with compliance issues. My personal solution was/ continues to be to refuse to see a pdoc so....

Two current anxieties:

1. The girl sitting behind me on the train has a voice like a baby goat and it's very loud and I just want to end her

2. I'm already nervous about M on Monday. I made a big confession to him last time and I can't see anyone being ok with me, knowing this thing. So I'm pretty sure he must hate me, or if not, at least think this thing is pathetic and disgusting. He asked if L knows. I think I've alluded to it with her but I'm not positive and in any case I don't think she'd believe me. He also asked if it was ok that he knew this and I said "yes of course" and then I changed and couldn't believe I'd outted myself this way. I left mid-breakdown. So. I guess L should know too but I don't see her until mid-June. I saw her a few days ago and instead of continuing down the path of the awful thing I elected to discuss personal artistic evolution. Hard to admit I am unhappy doing music but far easier than this other thing.

I am mixed on these books - thought some of you might like them.

For 23andme genetic testing, you have to spit in a little tube, then send it in. They only interpret certain results on the site, but they also give you raw data on your whole genome, which my integrative doctor used to check on certain genes that could affect how my body processes nutrients and other things.

I don't trust 23andme

Oh, yeah. First the FDA found them non-compliant and then despite all the claims of accuracy somebody got a few sets of identical triplets to take the rest, and they got radically, outside the margin of error, different results.

I also suspect they sell their data they collect. Ancestry.com got busted for that.

On a scale of weird to WEIRD, how weird would it be to reply to my T confirming tomorrows appointment with:

Yikes, I hadn't heard about that! Just the fact that the FDA wasn't allowing them to list genetic risks anymore (except for genes that could affect a fetus...there's a term for that, and I"m blanking on it...)
