Ooops I just spent 30 dollars on books-- the one T recommended, plus "Touched with Fire" by the same writer.

Hmmmmm, well T recommended the book. I will consider them essential adjuncts to my therapy. Yeah. That's it.

Well, OK, but you aren't allowed to drink any ginger ale while reading them. I would sooner to do without.....

Amazon has used books. I have had good experiences with their stable of used book sellers. You still have to pay shipping but usually the cost of used books is so much less than new ones that I really save.

I love this thread. I would sooner to do without.....

I'd offer to give up cable TV, but it comes with my apartment anyway. I guess I'd give up eating out! That's saying a lot from me because I can't cook for squat. But I'd be willing to make a go of subsisting off ramen noodles. Heck, I might have to do that anyway if I don't find a job soon. I would sooner to do without.....

sister, I'm with you on giving up Christmas! I have been trying to figure out how to say I can't do it this year. I can't find the words.
