Ugh.. on people overload. Two days of the the county fair talent shows cooped up in small building.. then walking around the crowds. Tomorrow graduation party and birthday dinner at my mom's house with family... I am going to need a day completely by myself to recover from this weekend.

Surprising feeling pretty good about my t make up and not freaking out about not seeing him for three weeks.

Always a comforting feeling when someone rings your doorbell twice at 10 p.m. (and you're not expecting visitors). They seem to have gone away, whoever it was.

Hi everyone. Just popping my head in to say hi. I'm working another 50 hour week this coming week, (8:00am-6:00pm) so this weekend was/is again filled with making sure everything at home is squared away. After this coming week, I'll be off the whole following week! I haven't really had time to read the thread and everyone's going-ons but just wanted to say hey, hi, hugs, handshakes and head nods. I'll be lurking during breaks and down time and willl try to throw a few words in if I can this coming week.
Stay amazing and beautiful couch peeps!

Jersey is signing out for the night!

I do not recommend going through serious emotional turmoil at 36000 feet. On the other hand, there may be no safer place to go through serious emotional turmoil. Unless you're DB Cooper.

Home for another day with my mother, then back to NY with cats, CW on Monday, Informatino in person on Tuesday. I think Informatino would look better with an exclamation point: Informatino!

Is she that peppy?

If not, may I suggest a subtle Informatino* instead?

maybe a fun user name to have would be "eta". that way every time somebody did a "ETA" you'd think they were talking to you and feel very popular.

I'm so proud of you that's awesome!!! And YES!

I can't wait to hear how it goes. Now that I'm a college student again I should look for something on campus!

ETA: I just did a quick search on meetup.com and there's actually a Tucson Poetry Writers Group holy moly, I should check it out.
Thanks for this!

Just sat outside for a little watching the thunderstorm currently going on here. I love summer in the Southwest, cooling healing rain and mother nature's light shows in the sky. H sat out there with me for a little while the TV was out (Direct TV doesn't play well with storms) but it's back on now so he's watching again and I came back inside. I really need to get a hammock, so I can start sleeping out there. Well not in the rain but...
Thanks for this!

Summer storms are the best, at least when they cool things off. Not so much when they just make things steamier.

I haven't been around in a while, but the couch still looks comfy!

What do you mean "both"?! The Couch 147: Maximum Break!

ETA: I like the one with the time-travelling whales.
