Going on 2 weeks with eye shingles and from everything I read, the pain is going to be a long time companion. I haven't been well enough to go to therapy, and it's wearing me down. I am at times angry at my therapist for urging me to stay home, and then when I get hit with a massive pain wave, I'm glad I'm not on the road.

There seems to be a bit of intense fascination with body parts, bodily functions, and sex going on around here right now. I wonder if fall brings it on. Admittedly, as a lesbian, condoms rarely cross my mind and I would go to packaged if they did. I understand those little packages can be hard to open sometimes.

Not to go too deep into metaphor (really, no puns intended) but I do love the idea of a condom on the roof of the car — a rather superfluous part in this context — as an indication of vehicle safety.

I am imagining condoms on car antennas, and it amuses me...like a little safety flag.

I had a terrible appt with a pdoc many years ago; I walked out in the middle.

The next pdoc I saw is the pdoc I have been seeing since 2011; he is very good. Hoping you have the same kind of experience that I did!

The kittens are scream and a pain. I have a table devoted to jigsaws. The kittens started knocking one or two pieces off then more. So I packed up the loose sorted ones and put them in the back, a bit pissed because it took for ever to sort them. The last straw was them picking the jigsaw apart and diving into the box of pieces the box sliding across the table hitting the wall and a little under 2000 pieces strewn across the floor. If they hadn't looked to cute and pleased with them selves I would have gone ballistic
They now know "no" "down" and "stay"

it is not bedtime where i am, not for another couple of hours. but i can’t be awake any longer today so i’m going to take the little half-pill that almost always makes me drowsy enough to sleep.

24 hours on the antibiotics and I'm already feeling better. Just read the last section of chapter 12 of my psych book, did the concept practice and answered the learning curve questions, and now all that's left is the unit 3 exam and writing my paper. I shall do one tomorrow after t, and the other friday night. Then it will be on to chapter 13, which is about Personality... this semester is going to be over before I know it!! I have so enjoyed this class.
