I’ve had to reschedule for work-related reasons, but never outright cancel.

I needed a lot of breaks from therapy. Sometimes I cancelled due to work or my person's illness, but mostly breaks.

I had to cancel once the morning of a scheduled afternoon appointment. If I have vacation or a lot going on for a week I just don’t schedule an appointment during that time. I’ve also had to reschedule a few appointments when things have come up. But other than the one, I do not cancel.

Maybe 3–4 times because of vacation or going out of down and probably couple times more for other reasons, like work, or family stuff or something else that might come up.

I reschedule once in a while. Sometimes I cancel if I’m sick or on vacation out of state or on a work trip out of state. I try to reschedule rather than cancel.

I put never, only because i’ve never been ill or had a conflict with a therapy appointment. I don’t have a standing appointment, so I schedule therapy appointments around vacations or other appointments.

I voted never, but i do have a very liberal weather cancellation policy. It started out a few years ago at 0 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit - outside of that range, i would cancel. But the endpoints have been losing 5 degrees per year. But now that ive started taking Uber, maybe i can open it back up.

Had a heart attack, then surgery, then made my appointment within an eight hour period once. So this might not come as a surprise...never.

I go on holiday for one or two weeks each year, so we don't have sessions then (though I don't really call that cancelling for some reason). Other than that, in 3y 5m I have cancelled once, because of bad weather in the first year we worked together. This year, when bad weather came along again we skyped instead because I am less okay about missing a session now.

Sort of depends on how you define cancel. Last year, I didn't really ever cancel--there were several times I moved my weekly standing appointment to a different day because of work or vacation or other circumstances, but there weren't any weeks we didn't meet on my account. There was even a time I had therapy on a Monday, left on a 10 day trip that evening, came back the following week on Thursday night, and then had therapy Friday morning!

This year, I have standing appointments twice a week, so if you define a cancellation as a week when we meet less than 2x due to my schedule/availability, then cancellations are much more common--there have been at least 2 weeks when we only had one session because I was traveling, and there will probably be at least 4 more this year.

Never, unless I'm sick or similar. I don't really take vacations (I'm a student still).

Decently often due to work conflict. There are tines I won't be able to schedule either due to known work conflicts or the limited availability of my therapist.

I think I cancel a lot. She has cancelled twice in 18 months due to cold and flu. I cancel due to illness and due to just not wanting to go. She is very fine with it and so am I.

I have once in 11 years... I was so sick that I ended up in the Er twice in 2 days and didn't get out of bed for 4 days.

I almost cancelled once last winter with EMDR T because the snow in my area was horrible...it was not at T's office 50 miles away. Ended up having a Skype type appointment with her.

Vacations are planned in advance so appointments not scheduled
