The two women were always beside themselves with joy if they thought I was reaching out to them. They always (over)acted disappointed when I brought them back to reality that I did not need them or love them and did not feel all bonded or attached to them. I mean I think they lied and exaggerated, but they always wanted more attachment than I was going to give them. If I had wanted to see her more than once a week, the woman would have probably swooned.
I don't think there are any blanket rules and how one person might grow (this is not a term I would use but it seems to be a common one to get my point across) or get what they want from a hiring a therapist.

Does anyone here watch AGT? What do you think of who's made it in the next round so far? Too many singers IMO... I like the magic acts most but they usually don't get too far

Tigger let me cradle her like a baby real quick before she decided there was more interesting things that needed her attention

She's like my boy Dylan was in that respect ..... he let anyone pick him up and cradle him and would do the paddle paws thing, even the vet could cradle him and get the loud purr and paddle paws

Tigger only allows it for short periods of time and not every day

Beauty was too timid for it, Ebony hated getting picked up and Tom would bite anyone who even tried to touch him without his express permission

I would personally ask someone who had training in fixing wires just to be on the safe side.

I am branching out

Bonus session was helpful, though I expected to be more emotional than I was. We sorted some stuff out though I think. And I feel better about things, both with him and in general.

As for attachment...I was much more intensely attached to ex-MC, and I think we only saw him twice in a week 3 times in nearly 4 years together. Also, I think his inconsistency in terms of responding to emails, texts, etc just fueled the attachment.

And to think, you scoff at us for merely jumping on the couch and using flashing emojis. We are too tame for you... tell the truth...

They do say that in training dogs, you only reward intermittently after the initial association which leads to them responding faster.

I guess I just figured with all the emails and the stone thing and other stuff I've read that you were pretty intensely attached to this T as well and not that it's bad, heck I've got my own strong attachment issues.... I just don't wanna see you hurt again like with Ex mc... and I was just trying to encourage you, because we have talked about you wanting to go to 1x a week soonish, so I knew that was a goal for you. Anyway.... I also get how inconsistency can fuel things and for me its WHY I had to create my own boundaries.

Even if I'm bad at wording things, I hope the best for you! I want to see you reach your goal.
