May I suggest that you work on your internal dialog? Some affirmations perhaps!

Well, I don't think she meant it as a compliment.

Generally when people say something like “I’m such a dork” I take them as poking fun at themselves—a very healthy thing to do.

CE I appreciate your thoughts on my behalf!

Perhaps not a compliment, but at the same time.... atat's right, I was poking fun at myself in an attempt to not take myself and my feelings so seriously... especially where t is concerned!

It is not serious. The Onion is a satirical news organization.

I'm sorry about your mom, healed. I hope the tumor isn't malignant after all.
I don't know what the situation with your T is, but maybe you could see him more often again, given the circumstances?
Thanks for this!

I dreamt that it was T's birthday and we had a session and I knew it was his birthday but he didn't know I knew. It wasn't like a session though because my H was there and T's wife was there (though it didn't look like T's wife). T's wife said "You might want to read this" and handed me a receipt from a supermarket with things like "birthday candles" written on it. She said "I know you already knew" I said "how did you know?" She said "because of this" and pulled some happy birthday stickers out of my bag. I said "okay I did know" and put some stickers on T including his age.
Then I asked T if my H and I and I could take him out for his birthday. He said he would think about it.

So sick of being so clumsy - last night, I dropped the lid to my favourite ink pen down in the space between my bed and the wall. No hope of getting it back without asking for help...

No. I sometimes drink a Shiraz.

When I was in a London wine shop, I asked them if they had anything from New Zealand. They said no. But they were wrong. They had three NZ wines, including White Cloud.

Here if you want virtual company. If I could be there physically, I'm sorry I don't know how to cook. But I can drink with you and sit with you.

I'm trying to reclaim geek, nerd and dork for myself. In my country during the 90s, such people were outcasts and I was the only one in a cohort of hundreds.

Where I come from, "dork" is much worse than "geek" or "nerd".

That sounds very caring of your T. I've cried at little things in emails like that, too, like one from right before my trip where T said something like, "Good luck with the drive, you'll do great!" Because he remembered that I was stressed about the drive.
