Sorry to spam the couch but its mammogram day i havent had one in 20 years, but when you turn 50 here they send you a reminder letter every 6 months and then after a years every 3 months, so i am having one so they only send it evey 2 years.
My last experince was awful it really hurt and nobody cared and the plates scaped my skin.

“Traditional tales important to society.” As broad as possible in my course. But yours works just fine, too.

The original medieval Slavic vampires of Eastern European folklore were ruddy and bloated like a mosquito that’s just fed (because they had), and not allergic to daylight. The pale version allergic to sunlight comes from Stoker’s Dracula. I learned all this in the past few days.

Garlic and crosses have always warded off vampires, though, so SD is well armed no matter what theravampirist she runs into.

I'm sorry you had such a painful experience last time. I hope you get a nicer nurse who will make it as easy for you as possible.

I am really sick of these gofundme scammers. A local woman was charged with fraud, forgery etc because she pretended to have ovarian cancer for 2 years she raised $50 000 and forged doctors letters and everyone including her boyfriend and immediate family were taken. Rumor has it he boyfriend and sister turned her in.

Yes. A big GoFundMe scam happened in these parts to. The people started a GoFundMe for a homeless guy and it turned out they were all in the scam together. They raised 400,000 dollars. They are now going to be charged.

I really need to be more patient. I was trying and trying to explain to my boss that when she ran checks last week, a payable check got mistakenly put into finance charges. Well there's no way we have $455 worth of finance charges with that vendor, which is tip off number one, and I couldn't get her to understand that we needed to undo the posting in the accounting system, re-post it correctly and then inform the vendor that they would be receiving a check that didn't have the invoice number printed on it. THIS IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!!!! So finally she did understand and I walked her through how to fix it, but I realize that I probably came off as smart-alicky or impatient even though I was trying to be calm and collected but I was frustrated when she wasn't getting it. I REALLY need to be more patient. And watch my tone. I don't know if she caught my tone but I could hear my frustration and I was like, rein it in. It's also frustrating that I have to walk my boss through stuff. I'm sure when she is out on surgical leave though I'm going to be cursing that day because she takes care of a lot of interfacing with customers and I'd rather not. Today can be over anytime. I'm ready to get home to my kitties. Kit.

I dont know how gofundme works but they are refunding the donors money. It would be difficult for larger scammers, like refunding $00,000.
This woman was just greedy she could raised a good amount than disappeared, did she think she would never get caught?

I've only contributed to a couple gofundme drives. Both were for people I knew very well. I knew of the validity of the situation and need. They were advertised to a focused audience, time limited and reasonable. I would never contribute to one for someone I don't know personally AND know who is running the drive. People out there just aren't very smart about these things and the criminals know how to steal their money.

My T and I do references like that often and then we usually joke with the other if they don't get it.

Anytime I think of Pyramid, I think of "friends" and start laughing to myself

I would only donate to a GoFundMe if I personally knew the person. Otherwise if I felt like donating money I'd just give to a non-profit organization.

Night, couch.

The current topic of conversation is tricky for me...bloody scammers. (sorry about the caps...my tablet keyboard is stuck on caps lock for some odd reason.)

Same here. Both times I've contributed, it was was chorus members. One was for a retired member whose family member had taken a fall and suffered a brain injury on vacation. The expense of staying in a hotel while a spouse is hospitalized away from home plus the CareFlight to get her back to our area was, of course, not covered by Medicare. (Have you seen the price of a CareFlight lately? The other was a similar huge medical expense not covered by insurance.

That's funny! In this case, I was trying to think of "two-way mirror" (in reference to observing D during private speech therapy) but couldn't think of the term. I said something about mirror and made a gesture showing the two sides, and T was like, "Two-way mirror?" I said yes, and he said, "Charades! OK, how much time do we have left?" (Like to do more charades). I said, "You got that really quickly from just my gesture." T: "Well, you did say 'mirror.'" Me: "Right, OK, breaking rules of charades then. $25,000 Pyramid?" T: "Wow, that's a throwback..."

Hiyas couch. I'm not officially "back" just yet, but was thinking about y'all this evening and decided to drop in and say hi and let you all know I'm doing well. I hope everybody here is too. Hugs, head nods all around and I'll be back in a couple of weeks.
