Today was pure crap, emotionally. I was out shopping and found a massive trigger that related to my big loss last year, I nearly broke down in the store sobbing. (I don't do emotions publicly) It took everything I had in me to hold it together. Of course I ended up buying the item anyway... and carried with me the rest of the day

I badly wanted to reach out to my T, to hear his voice, tell him I wish we could hug right now, anything. Worst feeling on top of what I was already dealing with, knowing on weekends, I am "just work" and I can't bother him. I really needed him today. I wish I'd been brave enough to reach out anyway but when he ignored me that would have made it all worse. I love my T, but this is the worst thing, when I REALLY need him, if it's on a weekend, I'm out of luck. Sigh....

I'm emotionally spent today

D's apartment is spacious, relatively speaking. It's kinda beige right now but she's snuck little pops of color in here and there. The best thing is she feels safe and comfortable there, so I couldn't be more satisfied.

In 8 to 10 years, I get to do this again!

I must be tired—I just accidentally hugged a Stopdog post.

Don’t worry, I removed it pronto.

Hate it when kids grow up and leave.

I just snorted tea. AND a peanut butter M&M, which tried to lodge itself in a sinus. Now I have a snotty tea drenched keyboard and a Jimmy Durante schnozzle. Thanks heaps.

I am somewhat disturbed by the fact that you combine tea and peanut butter M&Ms.

I cant take credit for the joke, my mini-me lemoncake had long so declared herself.

Im having republic of tea coconut chocolate tea, whose fragrance is probably similar to your current nasal secretions.

Them frozen pellets *do* make their way to my behind. Which, to think of it, is where this whole thread started. It was your focus on the "stuff after the colon" that first spewed itself over my poor and soggy keyboard. Like I said, thanks heaps.

So I am surrounded by peanut butter M&Ms, a half-finished bag of potato chips, and empty wrappers of what was left of the Halloween candy. While I work on a paper I'm writing about... the perils of hyperglycemia.

What's the movie where the journalist wannabe is asked to define "irony"? Reality Bites? This is Reality Bites Back in the Butt.

Dunno, but it’s defined in “Teaching Mrs. Tingle” too.

I just read the plot and some reviews for Teaching Mrs. Tingle. It's on my list! I love dark comedy; it reminds me of Heathers.

Veronica Sawyer: This may seem like a really stupid question...
J.D.: There *are* no stupid questions.
Veronica Sawyer: You inherit 5 million dollars the same day aliens land on the earth and say they're going to blow it up in 2 days. What do you do?
J.D.: That's the stupidest question I've ever heard.

You are going to be impossible to live with after that sort of encouragement.

I am reasonably not unfond of you. Whether is because of or despite of the fact we almost never understand each other may be best left unexplored.

Possible trigger:
I don't think my H will get a job, I'll lose my house, probably some of my dogs, I won't be able to afford my T, and I won't be able to afford IVF or adoption. All the struggling and fighting will be a waste.
Possible trigger:
I wish things were different, but I really don't have much hope for the future
