The therapist has chosen to do it. If the client doesn't like the house that is one thing, but otherwise, it is the therapist who has made the choice and it is not the client's problem.

Granite, please try not to worry about how the therapist will be able to escape her job at the end of the day. She can set her own boundaries and choose to let it go at the end of the day. You aren’t going to contaminate her home. If she felt any of clients were going to do that she would have found a space to rent.

Hey couch! Well son is all moved into his new digs. He's got a rotten cold right now though, so he didn't feel like going grocery shopping yet (I told him I'd fill up his fridge the first time for him). We're going to do that tomorrow. Right now he and his friends that came and helped him move are over there kicking back. H and I are sitting around enjoying our very quiet house.

Hugs, Art.

It's lovely you're going to fill his fridge for him.
I enjoyed being the grocery fairy once in a while, or bringing the kinds of things young folk on a budget have a hard time squeezing in. Fun splurge-y stuff, but also things like paper towels and laundry soap and dish cloths. My daughter was always super happy about that stuff. (And I was very careful at first to make sure she knew it was supposed to be a help, not a hint! )

Mom was sent home on hospice care yesterday at 5 PM. She passed away at 10:55 PM. It was a peaceful passing and she knew she was in her own home so I guess that is good. Please encourage your loved ones in such a situation to get hospice sooner rather than later. She had a steep decline so it wasn't possible in our case but hospice workers really help. I'm lost at the moment.

I am so sorry for your loss but want to thank you for reminding us all about hospice. I've had nothing but good experiences with them.
