These are adorable. I'm actually wearing red penguin socks today. It goes with my Christmas Mickey/Disneyland long sleeve tee shirt. My office is very casual. Beyond casual. I am however, wearing loafers.
Thanks for this!

I tried dog diapers and human diapers and neither one holds up to her bladder even when she does not have an infection. She drinks her weight in water every day but it’s not an option to limit her water because of her other health issues, the vet said she must have access to her water at all times. I’m fighting an uphill battle with her. My boss just gave me a nice big Christmas bonus-that should cover most of her vet visit on Saturday.
She is really lucky she spent a long cared for life on your watch. I had to let go my true love heart dog last year, and there was a lot of relief mixed into the heartbreak ( he had hemangiosarcoma of the spleen) bc it was then or after a total crisis. He went so peacefully and in no pain; my vet and I were both in tears, but not the bad kind of tears. It seems like, from your description, her system is shutting down, and you are doing the right, humane thing.

Things are not going well in this house.

It turns out that the kids' dad remembers the conversation we had in September about remodeling the office into a separate apartment for him, which I described on the Couch as wrestling as octopus Hydra, is this: I asked him to get an estimate, and he said he would.

I told him I was confused, that I thought we'd dropped the topic since his reaction was so extreme. When I reminded him that I'd locked my door that night, he responded that was old news and he remembers me telling him but he "thought we'd moved past that."

And he was so disappointed that he'd worked so hard to get the estimate and this is the reaction, it's disappointing.

I just...The dissonance is deafening, both the outer dissonance of competing perceptions, and in the inner dissonance of trying to continue to be calm, measured, careful, respectful, compassionate, balanced in the face of shifting ground when I feel drained of compassion and tired of constant watchfulness.

Am I the only person in the world who doesn't like Robin Williams? I found him irritating and nauseating in equal measure. Apart from his role in One Hour Photo, he was suitably creepy in that.

Robin Williams always got too silly for me. I can make it through about 3/4ths of the way through Mrs. Doubtfire and then I'm anxious as heck. I can't finish watching it. I enjoy his movies until he gets too zany. Kit

I never was a fan. And I really detested when he tried to do a Serious Role (What Dreams May Come).

I love the zany. My ex used say it was like living with Robin Williams, epecially when i talked a million miles an hours non stop and covered 10 topics in one breath. I loved his stand up more than his movies.

Saw my Pdoc yesterday and talked to her on the phone today. I'm getting back on all my meds. I can't do it without them right now. So she's re-prescribing me Lamotrigine, Wellbutrin, Clonidine, and Clonazepam. Man, I take a lot of meds And my dad doesn't think anything is wrong with me. Pfft. I don't think I'll ever become a mom.

I am still mad your T scarlet in fact i am mad at all Ts who just flat out refuse to even consider having a discussion about peoples financial situation. At least my T agreed to see me at a reduced rate it was more than i could afford but i did it by cutting back on sessions and lately my t has been kind enough to see me and delay payment for a period. I once owed 8 sessions.

It's a chasm I'm happy to perch on the edge of and wave at you over. I also love his stand-up.
