You could have not looked but there is no should. I can understand your fears about being terminated, but you honestly haven't done something that would truly be unforgivable or extreme.

Thanks, it helps to hear that. i mean he's said the only time he's terminated someone is when they physically threatened him. I'm still scared this is crossing a line, even though it was an accidental discovery.

LT I'm sorry if I sound harsh now, but you forget how strong you actually are. Even if you stopped seeing him it won't take away all the progress you've made. If it is the last straw, you will survive.

Not harsh--I appreciate that. I just don't know if I could deal with screwing things up with another male authority figure because I cared too much or wanted to understand them or know them better.

I had no trouble telling the woman when she effed up -but I never found that discussing the issues I had with her had any bearing at all on therapy. I certainly would never say it was beneficial in any way.
