Day two of low carb diet down. I won’t post numbers here. I will say everything totaled to less than yesterday-I still think I need to do some tweaking, but hurray for lasting more than 5 minutes on this eating plan.

It sucks when you leave your session with tears in your eyes and smudged mascara and the elevator door opens and there are 3 other people inside. Everything feels so hard right now.

Hugs...I hate that. For me, it's walking into the waiting room, and the other person just stares at me.

But the whole biomed thing can just be, say, giving magnesium instead of Miralax (might have different name where you are--polyethylene glycol--not actually FDA-approved for kids and they're conducting study on safety) for constipation or giving vitamins/fish oil supplements to help improve body/brain function along and up to anti-vax, chelation (which can be dangerous), etc. It's a wide, well, spectrum. I'm on the much less extreme end of it. I have a public health degree, so I really can't buy into the anti-vax thing. Plus the guy who published stuff about it, Wakemen, had his license revoked, the journals retracted the studies (which is a huge deal--I do copy editing for science journals and retractions are extremely rare). So...yeah, now I'm like, "Does my T, who seems pretty intelligent, buy into this?"
I had a bad feeling back when I read the session summary where he mentioned removing toxins that might cause autism. I don't think the whole anti-vax thing is something you should discuss with him. I can't think of any possible benefit. Personally, I would have trouble working with him knowing he espouses such an ignorant and harmful belief - and it sounds like he's hopped right on the bandwagon, and endorses other weird notions popular with that crowd. This is entirely speculative, but I also wonder if his bizarre response to you thinking his son had autism is also rooted in his beliefs. Like, maybe he thinks his son's autism has been cured by some nonsense or other.
Thanks for this!

It's part commission based on how many they sell, but they are paid hourly at minimum wage regardless. But when he used to sell cars there would be months he wouldn't sell any.

Something along the lines of LT’s situation
My therapist has a fb page with nothing on it-I got the usual friend suggestions and one was him and looking further I found we were being linked through a local young woman I didn’t know-so looking at her profile I saw that her best friend was a friend of my daughter who comes to our house 3 x a week for classical equitation lessons from myself
I had a bad feeling about this So I mentioned this to “t” saying that this best friend could easily come with my client if they were going on somewhere after etc (many pics of them clubbing/on holiday etc together) and I’d like to know if I was at any risk of an awkward situation in my own home and gave him the name
He was silent-forever-and eventually asked if rI really wanted to know-erhh yes!!
“She is my stepdaughter” that was an “oh sh.t “moment

There there. I like to think that the insanely overachieving super go getters who send in updates to alum magazines are insufferable annoying narcissists who want others to feel bad. I refuse to indulge them.
Unless I know someone in it, in which case I go -Hmm, good for them.

Ohhh. I really didn't understand at first how receiving FOUR alum magazines could translate to feeling like an underachiever.

From T just now:
"LT - sorry for the delay, it was a long day of clients after the break. Of course you’re not getting terminated. We can discuss what happened in session tomorrow. I just wanted to get you a quick note in case you were very anxious."
He knows me...(that I was very anxious).

I’m watching Luther. He just advised another character running away from a murder in self-defense to “buy some SIM cards.”

What are your reservations? I don't know if this is the same as an emotional support animal, but I know that class is often abused.

I took my dancer kid to the chiropractor today, and there'd been a cancellation so they fit me in too. The chiropractor just put his thumb on a pressure point, saying something about releasing a ligament. It didn't feel like he was doing much of anything, but all of a sudden I just sighed and my whole back relaxed. Whoa.

I had no idea I was holding that much tension. I am still exhausted hours later. I think I'll take an Epsom salt bath and go to bed. Maybe I'll sleep all night tonight, which would be amazing.

I really like springer spaniels. I've known a few, and they've always been sweet calm dogs.

I'm right there with you, depressed from having to go back to work and more depressed than usual. I think it is a mixture of going back to work and due to the fact that it is winter and little sun. I hope you feel better soon.

I saw T this evening after our break for the holidays. At the end of the session he said he had some openings tomorrow if I wanted to come in since we didn't get our usual Monday session or I could wait until Friday. Since my H is off tomorrow because of this pay cut ordeal I took him up on his offer. Figured I could use all the help I can get right now.

He will be trained by proper assistance organisation i just feel that people that includes me, shouldnt rely on an animal they should rely on themselves and whats within. I could quite easily train my dog to be an assistance animal but i am unsure of what he can do if i have a major panic attack in public. I am really unsure why i object to such a thing.
