I have a fit bit but can’t count on it for accuracy because when I used to wear it-it would count waving my arms as steps. Before I noticed what was happening I would be so happy. 10,000 steps and it’s only 9AM! Nope..not so much.

LOL. I use my arms a lot when I talk and tended to notice my Fitbit step count seemed randomly higher on therapy days--finally figured out they were related... And once I got the alert that I'd met my step goal while flushing the toilet.

I think most of the malls around here have gone out of business.

Sorry about the fight, do you have a go to thing you do when there is fights? Growing up in a family that fought daily, I had to do that sort of stuff to survive mentally. I usually go walk my dog or watch a funny movie. Hope you will be ok as the day goes on

My phone has a step counter on it and I take it on walks so I compare it with the Fitbit. Usually the phone has 800 or so fewer steps counted. I just average the two and call it even.

My Fitbit will sometimes register steps when I’m driving.

I still use the fitbit that goes in my pocket and I also have an apple watch that measures activity/steps etc. (other than a watch, I dislike stuff on my wrists).
Usually fitbit is a bit more generous, but I also just average it and go on.

Unfortunately, for me, I just have to wait through the cravings and in a few weeks they go away. I have not found, for me, that trying to find a substitute does anything other than frustrate me. I never ate much refined sugar/desserts as such until my person got sick and she liked cakes etc so we would always have them around and I partook. Getting off of the sugar was a bear that I am still struggling with. And if I slip up much (people giving me cookies at xmas and I did not throw them out), it is a craving battle every time. Easier for me just not to go there.

I found a song that fits with my T situation, so I had to print the lyrics. I posted part of them above the framed photo of us on my wall.

I use a step counter on my phone in my pocket. I had a generic fit bit but I think it was overly generous it quit working anyway.

I'm glad you have the picture. I wish I had one. I don't think L would have gone for that.

I do NOT want to go back to work tomorrow. Do NOT want. The first day of the new term and I feel furious that I am expected to go back to work! What the hell am I?! Just another brick in the wall? A cog in the machine?! I am not a number!!

Is this what it was like to work in Victorian workhouses? I am Oliver Twist!!
Thanks for this!

I'm really blessed how open he was to photos. I know most T's are not ok with it.

Thanks, we were actually each headed out (him with D, me by myself), when the fight happened, so will have a few hours apart—think that will help. My family NEVER fought, so it’s been hard learning how to navigate fights and that they can be normal and OK and part of being in a relationship.

I am feeling that way working 55-60 hour weeks like I have been since early October. Bah humbug!! Today starts another 60 hour one.

I am taking a week off as soon as we are allowed. Vacation is not permitted in January. Boo.
