Hi Couchies, I'm definitely sick. I've got a cough that is pretty deep and hurts my chest a bit. I'm still at work because it's not like my job is physically taxing. I still went out and did my morning walk, got two miles in before work! Woo hoo! I thought the cold air might make me cough more but I didn't seem to cough any more or any less. I do wish I was curled up at home watching Murder Mysteries and with my kitties instead of plugging away at work, but I don't want to waste sick time when I know I could get a lot sicker. Germ free hugs to anyone who wants one! Kit

Saw my Pdoc last night. Keeping all medications the same for now. Will go back in 7 weeks. I feel okay about that because I couldn't decide if I needed another AD. This gives me more time to see if the increase from the AP is enough. HUGS Kit

What about infecting your co-workers?

I'm pretty isolated in my office so I'm not too worried about it. Not too many people come to see me or interact with me. A couple of people have had it at work too and maybe they just leave a little early if they get to feeling too bad. If I start hacking my head off I'll head home, but I don't think it's to that point yet. If it was my boss would send me home. And I wash my hands a lot.

It is probably spread through the air you are coughing into - not just your hands. Hopefully your co-workers wash their hands a lot as well and don't touch their faces.

I liked the new psychiatric nurse practitioner a lot. I think she has a good approach to medication, and I like that she asked what I wanted and then asked what I thought about what she suggested. She spent way more time getting to know me and my symptoms than the doctor who prescribed my medication before. Here's hoping that I don't have to try a bunch of options before we hit on one that helps.

I am having a coffee and waiting for time to go to my therapy appointment.

I already feel short of breath. What the he@#. I did not sign up for this.

Maybe I should just go home and go to bed instead.
Maybe I’ll walk in and talk about puppies for an hour.

I think yoga makes me stupid. Did a yin yoga class this morning, then was seriously having trouble pulling words in my extra session today. Though I also did editing in between. Maybe I'd used up all my brainpower. Extra session went well despite that though. Had some good, honest discussion about my therapy and our relationship.

Could it be seasonal allergies? They can show up at any age.

Napped most of the day; now I feel less sick but quite bored.

The BF offered to bring me soup but for some reason I don't really feel like hanging out with him. Not sure what's up with that.

Got home from class and took a long depression nap. Ah. Now I'm still depressed, but refreshed.

Methinks an experimental break from PC is in order, to see if it helps me stop thinking about therapy/L every day (today is 6 weeks since I saw her last).

I'll be back in a week or so with my results...

Today's session was a mess. I got overwhelmed with shame and then all the other aspects of my life came crashing into session. I didn't do a whole lot of talking. I won't see him until next Wednesday because he's out of office on Monday. He wrote me a letter though. I haven't read it yet.

Not at all. Nothing in excess was a Greek maxim.

Heracles is supposed to push the boundaries between barbarian and civilized man. The excess would have belonged to the barbarian side.

He was sent to do penance even though the children killing bit was done while suffering from Hera inflicted madness

Honoured more in the breach than in the observance.
