My rage at the therapist has not been diminished by my session. In fact, I might be even angrier. I'm not completely sure... some legitimate grievances, but also a considerable dollop of negative transference.

I had a good session today I feel like it was the first time in a couple of weeks that we were able to talk about issues and not just spend time grounding me, and t listing all the reasons why I shouldn't kill myself. However, the way it ended was frustrating, first T and I started talking about some pretty important stuff towards the end of the session and I guess neither of us realized that it was close to the end of the session when some good conversation came of it. Then, t got a phone call from the front office it must have been a patient with some kind of emergency because he just said he would call the hospital and let them know she was coming and then hung up the phone. T sits back down and we start trying to wrap things up and probably two minutes later there is a knock on his office door. It was the office manger, she said she needed to talk to T. T stepped out and I could hear the whole conversation with the door shut, apparently the same client that they had called about earlier was still on the phone demanding to talk to T and threatening the office staff and in general just freaking out. I knew T was going to come and in started to wrap things off, but because of the interruption he forgot where we left up and wrapped up something that we had already talked about and didn't really get to wrap up the important stuff we had started addressing before we were interrupted.

I am really not annoyed with T as I think he handled things the best he could. He tried not to let the other patient's emergency have any bearing on my appointment time. However, when his office staff knocks on the door and says they need to talk he couldn't really ignore it. That is what frustrates me, though I am sure they were just trying to make sure another person would be safe. I guess I just wish the appointment could of ended a little better.

Aww what a sweet older gentleman. I'm on my after-work walk around my subdivision and he called to me from his front porch, pointed to a bench in his yard and said if you ever get tired and need to rest, that's what it's there for. I said aww thank you!!

I saw a competent doctor today (podiatrist—infected toenail) who apologized for keeping me waiting multiple times, as did his staff. Answered questions. Weird stuff like that.

And now I am missing a big toenail.
Possible trigger:

Ouch! Hopefully it grows back soon. Is it tender?

A competent doctor? You don’t say.

Sorry about the toenail. That’s gonna be a * * * * * tomorrow.

The podiatrist kind of looked like scruffy needs to shave Hugh Jackman.
