I need some chocolate. I just royally ****ed up my final assignment for my summer session I class, in which there are only three assignments. Some sort of punishment is warranted, but I feel like going in the opposite direction and having a chocolate instead.

Like in the 19th century, I think.

It has an uncomfortable overtone of pedophilia (Ganymede was a child when abducted by Zeus).

Ha! I knew I wasn't insane, but was experiencing some doubt since I wasn't understanding the connection to astronomy (I know nothing about mythology, either...). I think I read it in some historical fiction, but I can't remember what. C listens to a lot of horrible tripe on audible.

I am so angry this anger for exT that comes out of the blue and messes up my day. I want to ring himnd scream at his voicemail I did try to see him but the woman at the desk was there and I am intimidated by her, so I got to the door and had to leave. THIS IS HIS ****! He did this and I don't see why someone else has to pick up after other T.

I'm still pretty regular, but my same-age friends dealing with irregularities and spotting say that it's a crapshoot when the darn thing is actually going to show up. So the answer, according to the conversations I've had with them over the past couple years is who heck knows?

My doc has warned me that when I hit this stage to just be prepared at all times just in case.

When we learned about the moons of Jupiter in Astronomy class, sadly why they were named what they were *(such as Ganymede) wasn't part of the chapter. Now I am curious.

When I look at the pic on my phone I can't see the moons at all... it's just so fascinating to me that I could see them through my camera lens, they are so incredibly far away, how big they must be! yet compared to giant Jupiter they are small. eta I just looked up the biggest one, Ganymede, the radius is over 1600 miles.

I think I am sitting here talking myself into taking the Astronomy 102 in the fall...

The Galilean moons are all named for Jupiter’s inability to keep it in his pants. They’re some of his sexual conquests.

I am going out to the somewhat mid- north -west to a ranch sort of thing later this summer with some friends and about half the people are all excited because looking at stars/the sky/whatever is up there is supposed to be a thing and the other half of us are like oh god we are going to get dragged out to stare at the sky - who is in charge of the liquor.

The next one would usually also be late.

I'd suggest seeing a gynecologist.

Especially after my session with T where he told me that CPS reached out to him on Friday, over a month after they came out to my house to investigate. He hasn't talked to them yet, but did say they asked on the message if he has concern of me being the sole caregiver, which I'm not. And asked if he has concerns about the kids and my self harm. I thought this case was over with but apparently it's still open which is really worrying me and stressing me out.

Yes of course. That is the "worth it" part of the equation. I don't know of anyone (and would hope there was no one) who would teach a summer school course for law students for free. That would be completely daft.

The case worker hasn't talked to me since he came out to do the home study and talk to my kids the first week of May. He said at that time that he might have to talk to my father as he lives with us but he'd let us know. That's the only thing that's been explained to me, besides the allegations of negligence based on how severe my self harm and mental illness is.
The prior times they've came out, they did the home study and that was it. Then I'd get a letter a few weeks later saying it was closed.

I've been looking online and I keep finding q&a things but nothing about what kind of information can they get. For instance the case worker wanted me to take a picture of my prescription and send it to him and he mentioned monitoring if I was taking it. But I don't know if they could do that, or if they know that the SH is still occurring.

I feel emotionally drained and I see my T this evening. Part of me doesn't want to go because I've cried every session for the last 2-3 weeks. I feel like a burden to him a lot lately, and maybe it would be better for both of us if I don't show up.
