The scores for the london games were outrageous. Both teams seemed to forget to bring a pitcher along

You sound like a baseball fan.

Or maybe you are auditioning to be Joe Buck’s replacement?

Hey, we could team up to call games:

ATAT: the count is 0 and 2...here’s the pitch...it’s hit! A long drive to left field and that ball is GONE! Home run, Yoenis Cespedes!
SD: That was boring. *turns page*

I love the name Younis for a boy.

Remember the guy from Morocco that played the longest tennis game ever against Andy watsisname the american married to Brooklyn, in 2003? His name was Younis, and he had lips and hips like Jagger

So the plumber had to cut a section of the wall out in the bathroom AND in the office (at least that was behind the couch). Thankfully didn't affect tile in bathroom. He had to patch the pipe and said we should consider repiping the entire house, but that would be like $8,000, so nope! And I imagine being displaced from the house for some stretch of time? (Today's repair was $250.) H will patch the holes tomorrow (letting it dry out). Right now, most of the house has this damp carpet smell despite running a bunch of fans and a couple air purifiers. Sigh... The sort of ironic thing is, if T was in town this week, my normal session time would have been 12:30 today. I probably would have had to cancel so that H could stay here with the plumber and I could transport D between her social skills camp in the morning and regular camp in afternoon. So...maybe the timing worked out? Backup T tomorrow.

I was raised by one rabid and one regular baseball fan. My mother absolutely loved the sport and we were dragged to baseball games all the time. My dad likes it as well, but he was nothing compared to my mother. I usually took a paperback and just read until I was sent to fetch the snacks. I have been to a lot of major and minor baseball fields. We would always go to at least one baseball game when we went on vacation. In fact, my sibling and I have often mused that our vacations were planned around whatever match up my mother most wanted to see in person.

After I got my car I went to the Skechers outlet and bought a new pair of walking shoes! They have some pretty darn good traction so I better not fall down again!!

Are you slipping or are you tripping when you fall? It might be a balance thing. Have you tried practicing standing on one leg and then the other? I am serious - as we get older, balance can get off if it isn't practiced. I practice it every day.

When I fell in late April just before I found out about my appendix I am pretty sure I tripped over something. The 2nd time, I have no idea why I fell. This morning, I'm guess I slipped on some loose gravel but not even positive of that.

Good idea about the balance practice. I can start doing that when I'm in live chat during work since it's usually pretty slow. Thanks.

Well, happily I work only 2 more days this week. I get off Thursday and Friday both for the holiday. Normally we get only July 4 off but this year because we did so much overtime and are completely caught up with our work, we had the option of taking Friday off too either without pay or using our PTO if we want to be paid. So I opted. 4 day weekend for my birthday (Thursday)!!

OMG, I love T. He was running late today and having an off day. We chatted while he ate lunch and settled in but then he didn’t count that as part of the session and went over by the amount of time we chatted. Extra time to just be with T and talk about normal life stuff. Then we got to have a really open discussion about his fears/concerns working with me and how to make sure I stayed safe. He shared how much it concerned him that he can’t tell when I dissociate because I keep going, my affect doesn’t change, my voice doesn’t change... he doesn’t know until he gets the email. Then we worked on the timeline so that he will have a better idea of where all the trauma is rather than accidentally running into it.
Then I came home and got a head bop from my feral house cat. my husband can’t touch her yet but he hasn’t figured out the blinky thing. We trapped her 5 years ago and she is just now coming around

I feel like I have nothing useful or positive to say today. I even told T I didn't want to be there today and I'd rather hide out in my room away from the world. I don't want to deal with the kids or any house work. I guess I should do a discussion reply and work on my article summary assignment that's due by Wednesday night @ 11:59 pm. I'm mad as heck that most likely I'll need to get a pelvic exam this week because of this weekend's events. Trying to look forward to my milk bath breastfeeding photo shoot in the morning so I don't do anything too terribly stupid tonight.

So, got home from T and H is mowing the yard... he stops to tell me about his day but I say I need to go in I am overheating, can we talk in the house? He comes but starts with the attitude... talks about how successful he was today getting someone on board with my son (I have been trying for 8 years now no luck... but didn’t have the heart to tell his gloating self anyone can look good the first meeting)... then I started sharing about T... H starts asking permission to use the bathroom, get coffe etc like he is a hostage or something... constantly watching the clock... well the lawn had been ,owed but he didn’t bag the grass because he wanted it to dry so now he had to go re mow it with the bags to pick up the grass before dark. 3hrs later I ask him to get dinner for us when he is done, my blood sugar is dropping and it is still too hot for me to be out... more attitude... then I find he promised up and down to water our horses in the morning so I could have a relaxed morning going to T... horses water was dry as can be... I said something about living, breathing, captive animals being more important than grass... while he was using the “nice truck his wife deserves to drive” that we couldn’t afford... as a smoking lounge when he knows I have asthma. he just stormed out to work and said he will be home late after work tomorrow... he doesn’t have to be in for 4 more hours. Yay! More time held captive by psycho son! Who, apparently I should be less resentful towards because he is good for my husband (because H doesn’t catch him) but is a psychopath to me... and is most likely going to cost me my job this week...
Oh, can I please go back to the couch in T’s waiting room for the night.

I want T
