The fireworks have started in my neighborhood just now. My cats are not happy. I will sleep with the TV on or music.

I have dogs and horses... the “cotton balls” for horses aren’t like normal drug store cotton balls and are made for things like mounted shooting.

Every year after the 4th I buy a bunch of fireworks from poppers and smoke bombs to bigger stuff. I put my horses feed dishes around the outside of my round pen and set off progressively more obnoxious fireworks while feeding them grain and fruit/treats until after the 4th. By the time to 4th comes they run to their bowls and wait patiently for grain while the fireworks go off. I do something very similar with the dogs. You can even start with bubble wrap if that is all they can handle at first.

Has the pain always been this bad?

Did you see a gynecologist about the bleeding before?

It's only been this bad once before. It was truly terrible, like 8/10 pain, but it either quit on it's own after a couple of hours or the ibuprofen finally kicked in. Wave after wave of terrible cramping for like 2 or 3 hours. Zero stars; do not recommend.

I didn't see a doctor. I figure I'm in perimenopause at this point so maybe some weirdness is to be expected, but this is the third round of bleeding in as many weeks and it's annoying at best. The pain today was almost unbearable and I hope that doesn't happen again.

Just going to plonk myself down here feeling a bit sorry for myself, couch. I could use some cake. Does anyone have cake they wouldn't mind sharing?
Life feels a bit too much at the moment.

Think we might have a leaky pipe so may need to have a plumber come out today. Hoping he won't have to rip out the bathroom wall. Sigh. I miss renting sometimes...

Leak confirmed, plumber coming in a few hours. Sigh.

On the plus side, my T just emailed to let me know he is able to receive emails where he is and will be responding each morning. So that's good to know. And he remembered to email me on his own.

I'm stressing again about son's stuff that's going on. He's calling in sick today cuz he couldn't sleep last night worrying about everything. He's too much like me. I have to call AAA again and get my car towed to the tire place today to get new tires too at some point. I so wish L wasn't on vacation this week. Sigh.

Crocheting keeps me calm though, so after work I will be starting another afghan, this one for my son's gf. Same pattern as the one I just finished but she wants lime green, black and gray.

H gets home day after tomorrow.
Thanks for this!

Thanks! And thank you for understanding the 'look at it blurry' thing. Neither H or son get it when I say look at something that way haha!

I can't wait to start the next one.

With the rainbow and the star pattern=it would have fit right in with the gay pride paraders I was with this weekend. People were wearing all sorts of different things with rainbows on them

The first four chapters of my microeconomics course are the same as the first four chapters of my macroeconomics course.

Easy first two weeks, then.

I think I may bleed to death so I'm staying home from work today. Therapy session at 1 pm. What if I accidentally bleed on his couch? That would be mortifying. I don't want to cancel though.

I think I need to go see my Dr too. I went for a walk just now and fell and skinned up my knee and elbow. Again. 3rd time in less than 2 months. Why do I keep falling?!

NP, I agree you should go to a doctor. If it's that painful and that much bleeding, could possibly be something more serious.

And Art, you should get checked out, too!

NP-this doesn’t sound normal, that much pain that often. Really, I would make an appointment with a gynecologist.
