My dog needs to go to the vet but most of the vets won't let you pay the account off and the last time I took one of the rats to the vet it was $160 and the humans didn't eat for a week. His breath is really bad but his teeth are ok and I am worried if it's something internal that will require surgery and he's really lethargic

I rarely recognize people out of their normal context, takes a few seconds to click after they say hello to me first that oh, I know this person! I didn't even recognize L when I ran into her at the Dr's office (we go to the same gp as we discovered) she kept saying my name til I turned around and even then it took a couple seconds to register. Maybe I'm just getting old...

I asked for help finding vets on a local fb page. There is a myth in my town that nearly all people on a disability pension are smack heads and I have had some really unhelpful comments

Sorry people are being mean. I have heard of low cost vaccination clinics, but not sure about full service vets.

First session back with t today after his vacation.. it wasn’t bad. Just off. And it ended awkwardly as well. He was still very much on vacation mode and had forgotten a lot of details we talked about before vacation.

So he wraps things up really early. When he ended it I think I kind of made a face. Not because it was early just because I realized that I had spent 30mins talking about one subject and I really didn’t want to. It just sometimes when you go down one path it’s hard getting off of it. So, I get up and open the door and he realizes that it was early. He apologized and said we could continue. And I couldn’t at that point. So I just said I am good and left. It’s frustrating because I am blaming it on vacation, but things have been off between the both of us for a while and I need it to change.

Sorry to hear. Check out CareCredit. It's mainly used for human medical bills but you can use it to pay veterinary bills too. I've never personally used them but have heard good things.

Ok someone has just said that my normal vet has let them pay an account off I have been going there for years and they told me they dont let anyone pay things off, either this person is lying or it's a case of someone being a friend of someone which is so typical of this town.

I rang the vet that desexed my dog and said to bring him in and discuss things. I often wonder if it's how I express myself because I never ask for help and I don't know what to say.

I know Bob Ross seems kind of chill but I wonder after 30 or so seasons as he was planning the paintings if just said to himself "another effing cloud" I wonder if he painted other things in his private life so far I haven't seen a squirrel in any of his paintings

I would ignore her of course and I really doubt if I would recognize her, but part of me still wants to try to get to her understand how badly I think she effed up and what a total wreck of a therapist she really was. I laugh when I read how clients (according to surveys) say they lie about being better because they don't want to hurt the therapist.
I never, ever considered lying to make the woman feel better about herself. I didn't lie that I can recall, but I certainly didn't want the woman feeling better about herself and how she did therapy. If anything, I wanted her to acknowledge how completely useless and ****ed up she was.

I never watched the painter guy - I know who he is but other than knowing him from hearing about him - I really don't know anything at all about what he did.

I just saw a recipe for root beer ice cream and am horrified that someone decided to defile delicious ice cream with root beer. I know that it must be like a root beer float (an abomination in my opinion) by bypassing the floating part but still - yuck.

I’m trying to go to sleep. I just booked 4 more hours of work this week for tomorrow morning from 7am-11am-then I go to another family from 11:30am-5:30pm. Being out of my house from 7:30-5:30 is no big deal..it’s an average full time day. It’s that the hours I booked for morning are to take care of a tot who’s feeling under the weather. And I don’t know this tot very well. Only was there 2 other times before for a couple hours. I’m anticipating a rough morning. However these extra 4 hours put me at 41 total for this week, so hey..I made goal.
