I am looking at jewelry organizers (my earring collection especially is out of control). One guarantees that it is “explosion-proof.”

I gotta agree with the doc, i have to be pretty careful with cheese. Its not a daily thing, more like monthly. Otherwise my heart is not happy, and that is WITH meds. And im italian too. I need my pasta too, but mostly i have HMR entrees, which are like Lean Cuisines but worse - they dont have to be refrigerated, and the pasta in them is like literally MAYBE two tablespoons worth. Ordinarily i would call 2 TBS a warmup! My first mouthful! My last mouthful! Not my entire freaking meal!!! i guess the Tai-chi is to calm our italian temper down after we lose our pasta-induced serotonin surges? Anyway, good luck. Now i understand more why he keeps going to the drs. I just go lie down.

I'm kicking myself for today's session. I couldn't focus for the life of me on what I wanted to talk about. I wanted to tell him about my hesitation on calling him this weekend. But I only was able to briefly say I thought about calling.
Possible trigger:

I should have told him I thought more about the hospital and after this weekend, it's probably a good idea. He didn't mention it besides saying I'm going to put myself back there with the SH.

Gah, sorry this is all jumbled.

There ought to be a more macho therapy for men. Once that involves firearms and cabins in the woods.

I woke up to a warmer-than-it-should-be house. Texted my A/C guy at 6:45. It is 7:12 and all is fixed. I told him I love him! LOL! Gotta have a good A/C guy on your phone list in Texas.

Observation (not about PC at all - something I noticed in writing a good review this morning for my A/C guy): There is a set of people out there who, I have observed, make a hobby out of writing bad reviews of businesses. When you click on their profile you see a string of bad reviews, all rather similar in content. What on earth possesses a person to want to do that just for kicks? I started noticing this recently. I mean, I have rarely had such poor service from a business, unresolved by simple communication with the management, etc., that I felt a need to actually write a bad review. Some of these people have written many, many bad reviews. It's apparently a hobby. Who knew? What kind of person does that? So odd. Seems hateful (and probably manipulative - trying to get something out of the business like a free meal, etc.)

I used to work with this teacher who we ALL hated to go out to eat with. He made it his mission to find some piddling something or other to complain about, completely admitting he did it to get a free dessert or meal. It was gross behavior. I think the new version of him is the serial internet reviewer.

We are back in rain for the whole week it seems. I don't think it has been dry here for more than 3 days in a row since March.

We're having a fairly wet spring and summer thus far. Just about the time I start thinking we might have to start watering the lawn, we get a really nice rain. I'm not complaining though. It's HOT and the ground is going to dry up. As long as we're not flooding or having hail/tornadoes, I'm good with rain.

The 12 inches in 4 hours at my Dad's house was a bit much. Don't need that kind of rain. My niece in Minnesota had some flooding last week. We've had some crazy storms come through in North Texas this spring. Violent cloudbursts and straight-line winds. But that kind of weather has mostly settled down. Last rain was about a week ago. Time for more but I don't see any in the forecast until this coming weekend.

We have had a lot of flooding and every time they start the clean up around the river, it floods again.
I have to cut the grass every three days in the two hour dry window that we have.
It is hot here but all the rain does is make it more humid than our already super humid usual weather. Probably the reason it bothers me the most is that none of my animals likes rain and they have spent the summer whining and yowling at me about it. The cats go to all the doors to make sure it is raining outside of all of them.

We have one cooler day today (around 80) then we have a 5 day heat wave (over 90, heat index high 90's) predicted. So i have today to do whatever, as it will be just too hot for me to do anything, even with AC on. Its like my body knows when the heat index hits 96 - something inside just flattens out, deflates - its a very weird feeling!

Una I just found the audiobook for the Godfather- it's brilliant so far and I've not seen the movie yet.

I only gave it a go cause cause you and Joe (my secret lover from you've got mail) mentioned it.

Oh that sounds totally understandable.

Hi everyone. I'm feeling a teensy bit better today. Still would rather be at home under the blanket with the covers over my head, zoning out into nothingness, but I'm not. I'm at work. Had to do payroll and make some general journal entries. Still feel kind of crappy though. HUGS Kit
