The one good thing about my sister's job is all the children she has are able to go to the school for free, and the little one can go to preschool for free. It's a good school. Very academic. They learn a lot of stuff that I didn't learn in school and my sister could never afford to send her children there if she didn't get the tuition/books/lab fees for free.

Maybe it is some form of mania. Because I was even chatting with the general manager and I usually don't.

Ugh, an hour left of work. I'm teaching tonight anyway and I have to go to the grocery store to get snack for the class. I just want this last hour of work to go by fast. I'm hoping to get a quick 30 minute nap before class tonight. At least a lie down. I probably can't get to sleep in 30 minutes.

God I hate grading. Especially folderol.

Also I hate it when students cannot figure out some simple technology. This is the fourth time I've explained it to this one (click the button that says "Insert Access Code") and they tried to use it as an excuse for missing the first test, so I imagine they may try the same with the second test.

I enjoyed that class so much and I feel like I picked up some new skills as far as editing my poems. Now I want to start submitting some of my work to magazines or whatever... might have to start looking into doing so. It's been so long since I submitted anything I don't even know where the rejection letters are anymore... besides my self-published little book, I have had only one poem published and that was a very long time ago, 1979 I think? I was in high school. I don't want to think I peaked at 17....

@atisketatasket you make me learn new things with your posts. I had to look up folderol. I like it.

30 more minutes of work. OMG. Today has been a fun day at work but I'm truly done now. I'm just like clocked out mentally but I still have to sit in this chair for another 30 minutes and pretend I'm really interested. I wish I didn't need the money and could work like 5 or 6 hour days. I would like that. Enough to get stuff done at work but not so much that I need "filler" Even though I'm doing three people's jobs now, I still have filler time. I don't think upper management knows this. I surely am not going to point it out. I can always spend more time on PC!

My sweater is itchy. Can't wait to go home and change into a different long sleeved shirt in 102 degree heat. (Sarcasm)

I just read an update on the wildfire in Flag, they now have close to 600 firefighters on it and it's still 0% contained and is up to 1,000 acres. I am so glad we left yesterday and am sending up prayers for those it's getting closer to their homes. 5,000 nearby homes are under pre-evacuation orders. Scary stuff. I saw one report that said it was human-caused but still under investigation so I don't know. So very sad if somebody did it on purpose. I so hope not.

Wildfires are scary. My Dad was a volunteer fireman for 25 years. He was on some pretty bad fires. I grew up with a healthy respect for fire. One of the first things I remember him teaching us was never play with matches. That and don't go outside without socks and shoes on.

About the socks and shoes thing...my Dad went to the beach with jeans, tube socks, and work boots on. It was a funny, happy childhood memory. He didn't go anywhere near the water either.

I'm super depressed.
Possible trigger:
I don't think I can ever take care of myself by myself. I've never been able to. Before H, I had SSI and section 8, but I had to give that up in order to marry him. I might be able to finish college, maybe, but getting a full time job? I think I'm lying to myself. Besides, what is there left to live for? I have a broken family, an abusive H, can't have children, etc. I'm just not meant for this life.

I did a most unbelievably stupid thing yesterday I sent exT an email under a false posing as a potential client and he said at the end of the year he can schedule this fake person in. I should feel sad or hurt of something but I kind of don't. I am a bit over it. I wonder if he told his other previous clients the same restructuring story.
