My Cat Esther: Can you get me food? Are you getting me food yet? (I talk to her) I see you have the food. Can you give it to me? What is taking you so long? Ah, food.

My Cat Amelia: Hello? Where is someone? I'm scared. (I talk to her) Okay. There you are.

We are supposed to feed Esther 12 hours apart because of her diabetes. I usually feed her between 4:30 and 5 AM right after I get up (although yesterday and today I didn't get up until 6) but she starts bugging my Dad for food around 2:30 PM. So from 2 to 4 he stays well away from the kitchen because if he goes in there, she thinks its time to eat. He can't hold her off much past 4 though. So she doesn't quite make 12 hours apart but she seems healthier and she is not drinking so much water and peeing so much like when she first got diagnosed with the diabetes. We don't even have to give her the insulin anymore. She is still really thin though, even though she is hungry all the time and eats way more than she ever did. I usually have to give her a snack at night before we go to bed even though the vet said no snacking. But she's hungry and I think it's cruel to not give her something to eat when she's hungry. I know when I first started taking the anti-psychotic I was ravenously hungry. I can imagine that is how she feels. If someone told me I couldn't eat when I felt like that I would have been really hurt. So I give her a little spoonful before bed and it seems to help her. I'd rather her be happy and mostly healthy at this point. She's 14+ Amelia who is just over 1 years old eats twice a day and rarely does she want a snack. The vet said she was at a healthy weight. So I just have her on the same feeding schedule as Esther, minus the snack before bed.

The former owner of the company keeps asking me for a copy of the lease agreement between him and the new owners. He keeps saying I should have it. I'm like, "Why should I have it? I'm not the new owner." But I can't say that because it would be rude. What I think is, "Why don't you have a copy of the lease agreement? You are the one leasing the property." But I just have to carefully explain that I don't have a copy of it and listen to a long speech about how he knows he has it somewhere but he doesn't know where it is. Sometimes it is really frustrating having the former owner and the new owners not interacting with each other but going through a go between--me!

I'm pretty sure new cat's requests for food to me involve a great deal of profanity and complaints about the service.

I'm still not feeling normal, or like myself, but I'm not feeling as bad as the last two days. The suicidal thoughts have calmed down some. They aren't screaming at me anymore. I think tonight I will try to go to bed early and rest and then tomorrow I see T after work. 25.50 left until T appointment.

I'm excited for my new glasses. Hopefully I get them next week. I lost my old pair. And I've looked everywhere and can't find them. So it's good I'm getting a new pair. It's about time. My old pair was maybe 4 or 5 years old. This pair is black on the outside and pink on the inside and cost me $190. Which I didn't think was too bad. They have a blue light filter which is supposed to be good for computer screens so I am interested to know if that makes any difference with the migraines. Probably won't, but worth a shot.

Thanks! Me too. It was a hard couple of days. I'm not out of the woods yet, but I'm much better than I was. There's a light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks everyone for being there for me through my crisis.

Well, Proust is long and wordy and obscure and Hemingway is short simple usually declarative sentences.

The one I couldn't get through was Les Miserables although I have seen the movie, and enjoyed the movie. But the book is so in detail about every little thing. Like (I'm exaggerating) 25 pages on the dang silver candlesticks.

When I was younger I liked long wordy authors like Donaldson Heinlien. Lately I tried to reread the Thomas Covenant Chronicles and it seems as I have got older I have less tolerance for them. Also exT was very wordy.
