Funny thing is that I'm actually going to a trainee. There's a place I go to that offers free haircuts because its training for stylists. Its overseen by an instructor so that's good. The few times I've gone, I havent had a bad haircut, but have had bad ones that I've paid $60 for.

I think therapists need a good yelling at daily. Good job.

Do you all remember when new cat threw up on a window screen in the spring?

Well, she did it *again*. Next to the old stain, which has not faded, contrary to Couch expectations. And this time instead of a giant blot she managed to get it to run down the screen in two streams.

Haha yes if the truth be told. He doesn't believe in touch. I'm the poster child for daddy issues. In between yesterday night and this morning- I had a dream that I was little, maybe 5 wearing a school uniform with black tights (like my second primary school ) and it was the first day of school and I'm about to go in but I look over my shoulder and I see him.

I told him I didn't believe him. But I honestly think he just over looked it . I told him I still wasn't going to forgive him and said I wanted a copy of my therapy notes so I could send them to my new doctor Alfred Manning. He didn't get it until I said he wrote the three laws of robotics (The doc from the movie I robot). He thought it was written by Philip K. D I C k- I didn't correct him.

I can imagine info saying. "I'm glad you sent me an email back, my original email was frustrating."

I hope you can manage to live with your new decor. Maybe you could add your
own modifications to the screen.

Joking aside Is there a reason new cat keeps throwing up? Does she keep eating something bad?

She’s always been a vomity little cat. Vet couldn’t find anything physically wrong, so she’s on food for sensitive stomachs, which has cut things down a bit.

Aw, that's great @Lonelyinmyheart I don't think my former T ever initiated a text or email but I would have loved it if she did! I hope you can cope until your session. HUGS Kit

Well, Couchies, I set my self down and actually did the homework for Pastor T. Except I am supposed to memorize this scripture verse and try as I may, I'm not remembering it. But I did all the reading that I was supposed to do. Three weeks worth in one setting--ha! He said he really wanted me to focus on it and meditate on it but I figure I'm good if I just read the dang thing. Looking at another long day of work, but we'll see. Some stuff is supposed to ship so maybe I will get busy invoicing. The General Manager is gone today and so there is no one in charge, so I imagine there will be some light-hearted chaos going on. When the cats away.....
At least it's donut Friday!

Well, it's been 30 days since the soon-to-be-ex has been served with papers and he hasn't responded. My lawyers are preparing to file for a default judgment. I asked if that meant he automatically got half and the answer was not entirely encouraging.

Quote:
...the trick with default judgments is that there is the possibility that he would later be able to challenge and overturn it; this risk is greatly exacerbated if the court finds the terms of the default judgment inequitable (plus there is simply a risk that the court would refuse to enter a default judgment if it deemed the terms materially unfair - and unfairness in the divorce contest does not general include considerations outside of issues relating to the marital estate, such as criminal behavior).
I don't understand why one's behavior towards one's spouse has no bearing on the equitable distribution of assets. "Eh, so the guy set your house on fire. No biggie. He still deserves a six-figure sum from your retirement accounts. While we're at it, why don't we give him copies of your bank statements which clearly show your therapist's name so he can stalk you after he gets out of prison."

HUGS @NP_Complete--That sounds totally unfair and really just not good. I don't understand the court system sometimes. It's like the victim gets punished. Kit

Couch poll if that's allowed... What percentage of your take home pay (after taxes etc) does therapy cost you per session?

I'm feeling immensely guilty because it's my current biggest expense since T moved to private practice, even though I don't qualify for the sliding scale and they cap their max fees. (Because it could cost WAY more than their max fees.)

Partner thinks I pay too much, a friend said "you always tell people you will manage. Ask your T again for a discount."

Edited wording to make things clearer

On average about 5% It used to be higher when I saw someone that didn't accept insurance. It used to be about 12% when I saw a therapist that didn't accept insurance. This is not including PDOC or meds though, just the therapist fees.

I'm feeling more depressed as the day goes on and having more SH thoughts. IDK I think I'm just bored at work and there's nothing to do and I just want to go home and sleep. But is it that way because I'm depressed, or the other way around? Who knows.

Thank goodness you hadn't replaced the screen.
