Why dont you just hold your nose and slide down in the bathtub and dunk your head under? Why you always got to make things so complicated?
Thanks for this!

What about one of these put in your shower? Robot Check

or this
Robot Check
Ooh, that first one might work and would definitely fit in my shower.

Total immersion, remember? I have a small bathtub and some part of me is always sticking out.

I can’t help it. I’m a complex woman.

I am getting frustrated at myself and at H over our whole situation. He still hasn't returned our kids' birth certificates or social security cards to me in the 2 weeks I've been home. He says he forgets to bring them over when he stops by, but my son said he had them in his car today with him. I asked him to bring them inside and he took off. I don't know why I'm getting so upset over it and wondering if I'm making a bigger deal out of it than it really is. Yet I have been angry about it and feel like he's lying to me or using it as bait for something to get back at me for reporting him to the police.

He asked to try marriage therapy again so we're meeting with a T on Friday virtually. I'm not hopeful that it'll work since the last 2 times we tried were a bust.

I'm hurt and upset about all of this. I really don't know how I'm still going and haven't called it quits yet between this and covid.

I think this is why I always wanted a child. To witness the switches turning on and seeing the kind of person they become. This is so sweet. I wish I had made different choices in life so I could witness this myself.

Hey couch.

We're on lockdown. Government said therapy isn't essential, but haircuts are. Psychological Society appealed, some therapy can now still be done face to face as some clients are too high risk for telehealth. Eg suicidal, self harming, abusive household, can't benefit from telehealth.

T is trying to secure that for our clinic so she can see me and others who need it face to face. I really can't risk telehealth, I can't have my parents find out. She emailed me to let me know. I said I know her advocacy is thankless sbd tough and that I really appreciate her.

Of course we'll wear masks etc. I'm afraid that somehow I'll catch the virus, become an asymptomatic carrier and infect her and others.

Tonight I need to try to sneak out to get my psych meds refilled at my mental health GP. Life is exhausting with my parents around in the flat.

Several of my friends were discussing how their parents were responding to the pandemic during our Zoom hangout a week ago. I had no idea what my mom was doing, so I checked in with her. Now we keep having sporadic contact where she is cordial but it's so weird. I wish we could have a good relationship, but we just can't, no matter what I try.

My daughter-in-law (and son) are quarantined awaiting test results. She is a pharmacy tech and has been having breathing problems and horrible weakness an fatigue. Her doctor is fairly certain it is COVID. It took an act of congress to get her tested because she doesn't have a fever even though she has all the other symptoms and it clearly quite ill, but the doctor managed to procure on for her. So now we wait.

My sick neighbor went into the hospital. I'm looking after his dog. He said he was sure the dog would be fine alone between feedings and walks, but there was a lot of howling last night. So the dog is now exploring my apartment and deciding where he would like his bed put. New cat is not thrilled.

I'm so glad you stepped up to help your neighbor and the dog. Have you had a dog before? Or is this all new territory for you?

I know what a dog looks like?

We had one for a short while when I was a young kid. My whole experience.

This one is older and while vocal seems pretty calm. He's on the small-medium size range, which is the limit in my building.

Well, my work is going to three days a week, with two days off, so for the first time in my life I filed for unemployment insurance to help cover those two days I won't get paid! I'm thankful that I still have a job to come to and I can still work three days, but I have to admit I'm a little stressed about the financial considerations. I'm hopeful that it won't be too bad. If our company gets that payroll loan that the government was talking about we can all go back to our regular schedule, we think. It feels weird that we are slowing down production. Although I totally get it. We are trying to make the work we have last so we don't completely run out of projects. We did get a pretty big order, waiting on the deposit to come in, so that's helpful. But just some uncertain times right now. HUGS to anyone who wants one, Kit

I spoke to regular T on the phone on Saturday. It went alright. There were some parts where I couldn't really hear her. But overall it was fine. She said she thinks I have turned a corner where I am starting to get better in my recovery. That meant a lot. HUGS to anyone who wants one, Kit

The basics of dog care are pretty similar to cat care, honestly. They eat food, drink water, and breathe air. You have to be a little cautious with certain dog-toxic people foods, and they may want to snuggle a little more than some cats, once they get adjusted. The main danger is eventually wanting one for yourself.

Well, and the whole pooping and peeing outside thing... From my brief time (36 h) of dog ownership, I know grapes are one of the toxic items because I thought she'd accidentally eaten a grape my D had dropped, but then upon reading, for her size, she'd have to have eaten much more than one.
