Lately I’ve been having nightmares that I ate a meal, and then I wake up in a panic.

I know this sounds crazy but I keep dreaming that I find a hidden stash of N95 masks somewhere in the hospital but then I wake up and it’s just a dream and then I’m sad

What's sad is that you even have to have dreams like that...There shouldn't be a shortage, of those or potentially of ventilators. (I was just reading an article about how the government contracted years ago to have another company produce extra ventilators to stockpile in case of pandemic. But then that company got bought out, and the new owner didn't think it would be profitable enough, so got out of contract. So, basically, the shortage comes down to money and greed...)

I fond a N95 mask stashed in my locker. I set it aside for a minute while I used the restroom and when I came out it was gone!

Sorry that you had to have this dream - we should all be fully stocked with PPE

I’ve not really had memorable dreams lately. But I’ve noticed that I don’t walk in dreams anymore. I either bounce or float.

OK, have to share the cuteness (she's now wrapped up in a different position in the blanket, but don't want to disturb her). Actually, wait, now they're fighting over the blanket, even though there are two blankets...

That is the definition of adorable! Thanks, LT.
I finished an online writing group call earlier, and came out of my bedroom to discover that my mother had made flapjack.

Yummy.

It was weird but easy. I am going to try the matcha tomorrow - it is a little more involved - melting the sugar in the water and mixing into an egg white to get it to have some body to it.

Nice! And, aw, that makes me think of Dr. T. He has big windows behind him in and on the side of the office overlooking a bunch of trees. Once, in the middle of us talking, he was like, "Ooh, look at the hawk!" and pointing. It was rather endearing. And now I think of him when I see a hawk.

The food bank I’ve been volunteering at called—not enough food on hand to use their volunteers (just staff from now on) or enough money to keep the branch near me open. They’ll call if things change.

I’ll miss it, not least because it got me out on an “essential” task. But also because so many people really really need that food right now, more even than usual.

I have thought about trying it but I dont love the taste of a lot of instant coffee. Does the sugar change it?

I'm currently waiting to do an assessment for an iop program. T1 wanted me to look into a program so I went to the place I was inpatient back in January. They have a teletherapy option for their program so we'll see.

Hope it works out for you! Though I imagine it would be challenging to do if you have the kids at home...

It didn't taste like instant coffee to me - I was using starbucks via instant italian roast.

So between the new job, being sick, now the move, things have just been crazy. I had a meltdown at the old apartment today while we were packing/cleaning and I just don’t feel okay.

Technically I tested negative for COVID-19, but I think that was a false negative. Our office building is closed tomorrow and specifically my suite in the office has to telework until the 13th. On top of everything else, I feel bad that I may have given it to one of my coworkers.

Our big food bank also closed down to volunteers - my shifts were cancelled. They are more in need of money right now.
In my neighborhood, we have a lot of these things called little libraries where people have put boxes in their yards for books and other people can go by and take them (I got rid of a lot of my person's paperbacks that way) =now they are being turned into tiny little food deposits where you can drop off canned or boxed goods and people in the neighborhood who need food can just go take what ever is there.

Same here, SD. Little libraries and all. When the city first started closing down, there was a flurry of ad hoc food delivery volunteer groups springing up, not connected to the community kitchen or food banks. I was uncomfortable with the idea of @ 100 more people running around to grocery stores shopping and delivering groceries. I just wasn't convinced the increased contacts and widening networks wouldn't do more harm than good. Most of those have calmed down as the established non-profits have closed to volunteers in favor of in house staff. So now $ is the best way to help. Most of the non-profits have switched to drive through pick-ups and expanded Meals on Wheels deliveries. I think it's safer.

Had a nightmare that I was falling asleep when my friend came to sleep in bed with me like she does sometimes when I'm really depressed. That was comforting but then an octopus came to get me

Had my first social distancing anxiety dream last night. I was at some mall with my parents and realized that people were standing too close to each other. So I went to find a more spread-out part of it, but they were washing the floors, so I had to walk slowly to avoid falling, and there was some guy who looked like he was about to sneeze. Woke up in a bit of a panic.

Hugs...if they told you it was negative, it's not like you knowingly passed anything on. Or if you mean you think it may have happened before you were on leave. There could easily be an asymptomatic carrier are your job who gave it to both of you (assuming you mean they're doing telework because someone else may be sick).
