I logged onto the radiology place's website and saw that my CT results came back Monday! I have no clue what it all means of course but I am assuming that the doctor not calling me yet is most likely a good sign.

I think cue the tape might be correct. If it has something to do with some sort of line or ordering of things, queue would be correct. In computer science a queue is a FIFO data structure (like a checkout line), as opposed to a stack which is LIFO (like a stack of plates). I think our friends across the pond use queue instead of line more frequently than us Americans.

The birth of my niece has triggered my grief about my infertility It got brought up in session, and now I can't seem to put the lid back on of all the emotions. Don't get me wrong, I love my sister and my nieces, and I'm happy for them. And I'm sad for me.

Yeah, 'Cue the tape!' would be correct.

'Is there a queue to view the tape?' would be the other context.

I ordered a bonkers amount of fresh produce for our grocery pickup yesterday. I am usually in charge of the shopping and meal planning and I also sort of have stockpiling tendencies, so I could tell my wife was half-amused/half-annoyed by my, um, exuberant abundance when she came out of the store with our order. But then we had fresh strawberries and raspberries with yogurt and granola for breakfast this morning, so now I think she is back to being grateful that she is on my quaranteam.

I go back and forth with being fairly content with our situation and feeling restless and sad. On Friday I posted an offer on Facebook to send a postcard to literally anybody who wanted one, and writing them out and selecting stamps was a fun way to spend the weekend. I sent out cards to people from high school and college who I haven't seen in years. Anybody else have ideas for fun diversions like that? Even better if it reduces the isolation...

I love the postcards idea! I'm currently working on a "gratitude video" to post on facebook to my friends who so hugely and lovingly had my back not long ago when i was briefly losing my mind over all this covid stuff.

The level of vulnerability that teletherapy/pandemic time seems to have unlocked in me is really uncomfortable.

Fruit can always be frozen too!

EM maybe you could also go through all the photos you might have on your phone and make photobooks for family.

Next Thursday. I used the D word in session today, which I have had issues with since P described my experience as 'almost like' a deep depression.
Holy funk.

It's understandable something like that would trigger you.

P was 'like' a therapist, by that token. I spent most of our sessions trying to explain the basics of online communication to her, in the hope that she would grasp my issue.
When she finally did, she turned it around on me. Thank God for R.

That was my solitary experience of NHS therapy, so I did my six sessions, and got the heck out of there.

I've not had experience, but last year the most a friend was offered was group sessions.

Lemon, I LOVE this idea! Photobooks will be perfect for the people who are really missing being able to interact with the kiddo in person. Now I know what I'm doing this weekend!

My hair salon is authorized to open May 16!

I got my color done just before my state's lockdown, and I can get away with washing my hair only once a week if I need to, so it's not too bad yet, but still. Plus I need a trim.

I am envious of your open hair salon. My hair is driving me crazy and I keep threatening to just shave it off. It is touching my ears and almost to my collar - I can't have this hippie look.

Next thing we know you will be linking arms with complete strangers and singing kumbaya around a fire, barefoot and wearing tie-dye.
