My Mom has seriously interrupted two sessions by answering questions for me! Pastor T was like, um, is she supposed to be in the session? I'm like nope! So my Dad has an amplifier or hot spot or something (forgive my stupidity regarding technology) and we tried that last night in the RV but it still didn't work well. When we were actually doing the session, it was okay. He wasn't pushing me as hard as last week. He was a little more encouraging. I'm not overly thrilled with the homework I have to do this week. Plus he wants me to tell my PDOC about my so-called delusions which I'm still not sure are delusions. I talk to PDOC tomorrow. And then he wants a report back. I'm like forget that, what I say to PDOC is private between me and PDOC. I didn't sign a waiver for him to talk to Pastor T (that is why Pastor T wants to hear from me how it went). At least I don't have to memorize anything this week. My brain gets a break. HUGS Kit
I agree! If you're not comfortable talking about Pdoc stuff you don't have to share it with Pastor T.

Maybe this is overkill but the first thing I wanted to do after getting out of session with R was
Possible trigger:
my student counselling site had two free spaces for tomorrow which I don't feel like I deserve but I've taken the 3pm slot.

Cooking news: I learnt how to make really good mashed potatoes! It still counts if they came from a packet though right?

I'd buy potatoes but sometimes they'd go funny before I even cooked them even if it hadn't been that long since I bought them.

Thank you- it's still hard to hear.

I also felt like a grown up buying tea but I didn't know the exact difference between an Earl grey and Morning breakfast.

Can we also start planning our Christmas menu?

We only 241 days to go.

Unless you wanna have a wedding in between?

Found out the Pdoc that exploited me now works for a senior help center as an official legal ‘guardian’...such as a guardian for folks in nursing homes, etc. I imagine he has access to their financial information and can be consulted to make medical decisions for incapacitated individuals.

What a scum of the earth. He doesn’t have anyone else’s best interest at heart (outside of his family, maybe.)

Con men gotta con, I guess.

I don't know the difference between Earl Grey and English Breakfast either, although I usually drink Earl Grey. But if we are out of Earl Grey, I will drink English Breakfast.

I cannot abide Earl Grey - it is the bergamot that I dislike. A lot.
English Breakfast is usually just a black tea blend.

Thanks stopdog for the explanation of the difference among the teas. Now I am craving some hot tea though I am drinking some Lipton black iced tea unsweetened. I think I like Earl Grey so much because my Grandma drank it (with milk) and gave it to me as a child. She also baked me sugared pie crusts as a child when I was sick. Much more nurturing from her than I got from my parents. Unfortunately there was sort of a rift between my Mom and my grand parents and she didn't trust my grandpa (these are my Dad's parents) so I didn't get a lot of time with them when I was young. But when I was 18 and my grandma was dying, we took care of her for 5 or 6 months in our house until she passed. With the pain medication and stuff she was on, I don't know how much she knows I was there, but I was blessed because of it. My Mom's parents were divorced and I didn't know my Mom's Mom and she has long passed. With my Mom's Dad, we knew him and he was nice to us--gave us great Christmas gifts and birthday gifts--but I can't say we were close. I liked him and I was fond of him but he had a lot of paranoia and addiction issues and abandonment issues and stuff that made it hard for him to interact with us at times.

Comrademoomoo, I have never heard of Lady Grey tea. I don't know if I have seen it in the supermarkets either. I wonder if they sell that here in Southern CA. I would give it a try. I just don't like fruity teas or peppermint tea. I just like black teas.

Induction worked. No c-section needed.

I was surprised the baby has dark brown hair. My family are blondes, and the father always wears a hat. It was just shocking. It's also funny because the father of the other two girls claimed this baby as his too...except he has red hair...lol. The baby is definitely the new boyfriend's.

I'm happy that my sister and baby seem to be healthy and doing well. I don't know how she's going to deal with 3 kids under 3, but she'll just have to find a way.

And i can only assume that you know well to disinclude me from your mass chastisements! Lady Grey holds a permanent position in my pots!

Eta - and really? I thought Lady was milder than the Earl in regards to the bergamot. But perhaps the Lady is more robust, and the Earl rather spindly.

Tea makes my stomach hurt. Coffee without a bunch of sugar and/or milk is too bitter for me. I feel like I'm missing out on a social experience sometimes, but at least I'm not beholden to my coffee maker in the morning. I do like herbal teas and fruity teas occasionally though like ginger, lemon or hibiscus. "Earl Grey, hot", I'm afraid, would be too much for me no matter how much I love Captain Picard.
Thanks for this!
