Esther is 16 now.

Since I am furloughed 16 hours a week my Dad is going to pay the vet bill upfront and then I will pay him back, but yeah, I don't want a high vet bill to have to pay back. It took me more than a week to get Esther in to the vet.

My mom and sister both have Subarus they bought in the past couple years and they LOVE them. My Mom's was the ONLY car still driving on the road last winter in a nasty ice storm in her area. There were cars all over the place on the sides of the road and she drove safely home.

About 10 years ago i wanted to buy a Subaru but the salesguy asked me to leave because 'you cant afford anything here' that was the first thing out of his mouth without even seeing any payslips. I was so insulted.

Holy sheepfrogs!! that's awful. I would have left too no excuse for that.

I went with my sister one time to look at cars, many years ago and she found one she wanted, we went back to the office with the sales guy, and he proceeded to sit there and basically straighten up his desk drawer and completely ignored the fact that we were sitting there. It was so bizarre and we got up and left.

I think with car sales guys its a gender thing. I used to help my brother fix his car and i know how cars work and i have noticed they speak differently to males as when my ex was with me they spoke to him rather than me even though i was buying.
Did the sales guy show you the cars and then ignore you? I find that perplexing because they lose on commission then. Or did he just follow you around and look bored?

Ugh, my roommate is driving me crazy. I agreed to help teach her how to drive and she's just bugging me about it. I already took her out driving in parking lots twice and she is god-awful... like she froze up whenever another car started moving. I didn't realize I'd signed up for such an effing long project. (She already has her license so I figured I'd just have to like get her used to driving in the city... but damn she's awful.)

Plus I went into the kitchen to make dinner and it is an undgodly mess in there. She said she'd clean it up but I just don't want to have to talk with her right now. Urgh.

ETA: also she asked if she could borrow my Nintendo Switch (which she does every day to play Animal Crossing) and I told her not at the moment because I was gonna take it over to J's house to play a game I just got and she said "omg ok" -- wtf?

Ugh to your experience and that of Daffydungle! I was working with a female salesperson today, so that helped. But part of why I had my H there for most of it (until he had to pick up D from camp) was in case we had to work with the male manager there. Male finance guy was totally fine.

My session today with T1 was stressful and cut short. It was scheduled for 10am and I jumped on with the link I received in my email. Waited 10 minutes without a response from T. As soon as I logged off, he sent me a different link and asked if everything was okay because he had me scheduled for 10am. Told him what happened so we spent about 5 minutes trouble shooting that. When I finally got it to work, the only place the video would work was inside my car. Of course I haven't talked to him in a month so I tried jamming a month worths of news in 30 minutes. Then he had to go at 11 understandably but my video connection cut out about 5 minutes before. I gave up at that point and didn't try to log back in.

Tw for SUI...

I did not miss hormones. Allowed myself more than usual of the cookies I made last week.

ETA: chihiro, sounds like your roomie has a driving phobia like I used to. She needs a professional imo. Also less strain on your relationship.

How do you even get a license if you're that bad at driving? Did she not have to take a driving test at some point?

@@ Fantasy baseball question. Does an "S" after a player's name mean they'll be a starter in that game? Or something else?

In my leagues on CBS it means suspended and they have a little baseball next to the pitcher’s name on days they start. Could mean starter on ESPN. Who is it?

Well, it's a bunch of players and on ESPN. Mike Trout, Trevor Story, Eloy Jimenez, Eddie Rosario, and a couple others. I've determine through a search that "PP" means "probable pitcher" for the pitchers.

Got to be starting then. I have Rosario on one of my teams and he's definitely in the lineup today.

Those are good players to have!

OK, good! If they were all suspended, I'm in trouble... My H just asked (jokingly, when I reported my score) if I paid money for this league and how much. It was free (mostly to keep my brain occupied with something).

Is it a head-to-head (points) or rotisserie/roto (categories) league? (I have one of each for my keeper leagues.)
