Hugs, Scarlet. I agree that it's better to know if you have sleep apnea, as it can carry various health risks. Hope the full results are helpful.

All of our pets have middle names.

My Mom's dog is Emma Louise (which only gets used when she is in trouble)

Esther's middle name is Rose (after my 1st grade teacher, and usually only gets used if I am petting her, trying to soothe her)

Amelia's middle name is Jayne (which hardly ever gets used)

So sorry you have sleep apnea though I think it is better to know than not know. I'm glad you were able to sleep some. Hopefully you will get the full results and that the rest of the results will be good.

Wow, you did good! I couldnt sleep at all during mine! They made me sleep on my back, and i NEVER sleep on my back. And it was too weird, being there in my jammies with people. I never wear jammies either! The breakfast in the hospital dining room was good though. Eggs and burnt toast

I couldn't sleep during my sleep study either.

I'm trying to get a sooner appointment with pdoc and it is not easy. He keeps replying to my inquiry with unrelated things.

Very nice! I especially like the name Amelia Jayne. That kinda rhymes with what I would have named my daughter if I'd had one: Alycia Lane.

Lone dog and new cat have done their Christmas shopping for my mother, settling on a set of cat and dog knitting stitch markers.

My pets always had people names so they could think they were like everyone else in our family.. Made sense to me, anyway. I had a dog named Charlie Brown, had a Nicky and a Jakey. The present cat is named Daisey, middle name Mae. Imagine that.

That's great!!!! Now do lone dog and new cat receive Christmas presents?

Esther has cat nip under the tree (wrapped). Emma has a sweater under the tree (wrapped) and Amelia has some toys with cat nip in them (wrapped). Esther also needs a new collar but I'll just get her that.

I always used to give my nieces and nephews presents signed from my cats. When they were little. They always were like, how do they go shopping? And I'd say, on the internet with a credit card just like everyone else! I think they believed me until they were about 10. It was cute. I haven't done it with the youngest two. Ah well. That's because they get less presents now. Every baby my sister has reduces the amount of presents each child gets because my budget doesn't expand each time she has a child.

Can i just rant some more? My sleep study was on a snowstorm night. I dont have a car so i was honestly praying i could get a cab. This was pre-Uber days. The hosp is only a mile away but it was west, into the wind, and uphill. I never woulda made it! Plus it just LOOKED so desolate, you know how snowstorms do.

I gotta check my amazon purchases and see if thats when i started reading the Everest books!

Eta - slumber, those are cute! I love bass weejuns, and i looooove kiltie loafers! Annnd i was just thinking about the mocs i had ninth grade. I had bought boys shoes because i had to walk a mile to school and i knew i needed them to be sturdy. Plus, 7 mens looks more petite than 9 womens. One is sized down from the master, the other is sized up.

That sounds dreadful! I can't imagine walking anywhere in blizzard type snow. Then again, I do live in So Cal.

Thank you! I used to work for GH Bass. But started wearing Weejuns before then. Before my very first job I got a pair of Weejuns to wear to work and I was hooked. I don't buy as many pairs now that I don't work there (miss that discount) but they last so long that I still have lots of pairs. I needed a new navy one though.

I'm with you. I love the kiltie ones! They just look fancy. And they are so comfortable, once they form to your foot. These are just a little tight on the top of my foot but it's the first day wearing them. They will sort themselves out in a few days and then it will be like a well oiled glove.

And what is it with the sizing? Why can't it just be one size. I always think its funny when I go to VANS and ask for an 8.5 and they are like, "In womens?" And I'm like, um yes! Do I look like I have size 10.5 feet?!!!" But I try not to be snarky otherwise they might say they don't have the shoes I want.

I remember telling some classmates they were boys' shoes, and they were like, oh no theyre not, and dont say that! I thought i deserved credit for finding cute sturdy shoes, all on my own (no parents helping me shop).

As if this year couldnt get any worse. Last night the council advised there was a rupture in the only pipe that supplies our town with water and this morning got another text saying emergency water use only as water is critically low. So only drinking and toiets. Faark! I need to do laundry!

I hate when the water goes out. It reminds me how unprepared i am.

I wanna get one of those hot/cold water dispensers. I wonder how much it costs.

Eta - checked the ads, doesnt really say, but sounds like it would be like a low utility bill. I will check w the apt. rental office

My guinea pigs don't have middle names. Though what's interesting is I came across their adoption paperwork the other day, and it mentioned that Amelia used to be called "Allie." I said "Allie?" to her, and she looked up! (She's less responsive to Amelia). So now I switch it up sometimes between the two names.

Ive never seen one with the filter in it before. But yeah i would want a big one like that, not a delivery of smaller bottles that i have to eff with. And prefereably with hot and cold.

Im such a princess! I want it ALL, or NOTHING!

The most ridiculous thing i saw while shopping this week was an instant hot water dispenser that heats water in 3-5 secs. Wtf you turn your kettle on get your cup put your tea/coffee sugar milk etc in and the water has boiled. Who is so time poor that thenneed hot water in 5 seconds?

My Christmas present to myself arrived today (the lighted crochet hooks). I put them under the tree! Also got a package in the mail from my brother yesterday and it had a little wrapped gift in it for me, which is under there too. Yay!
