My warranty issue is resolved. They gave me a board to put under the cushions so i dont sink into the sofa bed space. The email said that they sell these a lot, if its such a problem why dont they come with the sofa bed when you buy it? That makes more sense than making people jump throught the warranty/complaints process.

Wow! Raccoons are BIG! I didnt know how big raccoons were i thought they were about the size of a cat because in all the documentaries i have seen they are in the wild and its difficult to get a sense of scale when there are just trees all around. I saw a video of someone with a raccoon in a shopping trolley in Walmart( really?) and it didnt quite fit in the child seat part. Seriously are you allowed to raccoons or any other animal into shops in the US.

In the US - usually animals are better behaved than children. But sadly, no -it is not all that common inside. It is common to have dogs/sometimes other pets at outdoor dining in my area.
Raccoons, as long as they are not rabid, are quite clever and funny. They also don't make super great pets as doing their natural thing is usually not conducive to living in a human household - you would have to have a great tolerance for being outwitted and having all your food eaten or strewn about and your stuff destroyed because they were investigating around

I just watched a few videos from raccoon owners. I thought my big cat was a challenge.

Okay, I am never sending a condolence card to a therapist again.

I just opened my Valentine’s package from my mother and she’d put Info’s thank you card for my condolence card in there (it went to her address since I mailed the card from there). So now I have a card with four pictures of him, including one with Info and another with his grandson, the names of his daughter, son-in-law, and grandson, Bible verses inside, and then a hand written thank you from Info talking about God and describing her relationship to her husband relationship as “secure and” looks like actuarial but that can’t be right.

She knows I’m a client, right? It would be a very sweet thank you to send to friends and family. Not so much a client. Maybe she got me mixed up with another ATAT.

One of daughters friends lives in a street where you have slalom through the shopping trolleys left on the road.

The only explanation I can think of is that grief makes you weird.

And while we’re on the subject of adding sugar to things, why must Americans add it to French toast? In Greece we make it without and it’s soooo much better.

I will ignore the first part as you are not southern (although - no cornbread? what do you sop up your greens and beans with?) and just say thank goodness you are not one of those heathen who puts sugar into their cornbread should they ever make it

I don't add sugar to french toast, but I don't like french toast and don't think I have even tried eating a piece of it in over 40 years. I don't like most breakfast breads (pancakes, french toast, regular waffles, etc - I always felt terrible after I ate any of them)

I expected pimento cheese wars (nuts or no nuts, duke's versus hellman's, how spicy, on celery or crackers, etc) -but no pimento cheese at all was not in my radar.

No pimento cheese at all--ever--is definitely on my radar.

Okay - so I am a poll of 1. I make my own and it is delicious. No nuts, spicy, hellman's and celery. When I am feeling daring, I add it to deviled eggs.

Big no to pimento cheese. Equally big no to sugar in cornbread--which is divine at any time with any food. Love French toast and can't stand sugar in/on it--butter and salt. No other breakfast breads which also leave me feeling gross--except for good whole grain toast with ricotta or goat cheese or hummus--nothing sweet.

Sometimes my dad would buy pimiento loaf instead of olive loaf for our lunch but we would feel tricked.

In detroit, pimento might be more of a Polish - Eastern Europe affectation? The borders are pretty closely guarded here.

This is making me want a bologna and cheese sandwich SO BAD!

I think the raccoon posts affected my dreams last night. In one of them, I had a tiny raccoon living in the cage with my guinea pigs!
