Is that if the rider or the horse is drunk?

I think the horse would get a GUI (galloping under the influence?)

If the horse is under the influence, I would think that would be animal abuse against the rider.

True. Unless it ate some fermented fruit unbeknownst to the rider...

When I was a kid someone gave us a couple barrels of apples for the pigs. Unbeknownst to us the apples had fermented. Drunk pigs are funny and a little alarming. Poor things had quite a hangover the next day.

Now I am wondering...I think I've shared that story. We may have discussed drunken animals on the Couch before. Heh. Not really a topic one would expect to repeat...

I had a stepdad who gave his dogs beer on a regular basis. Shocker, he himself had an alcohol problem. All of my stepdads did actually.

As far as golf carts go, our maintenance men and some of the residents at our apartment complex have them. The complex is very large. It takes me 15 minutes to walk to the dumpsters. One of the maintenance men has the entire cart decorated in gear for the Tennessee Titans. I do not live in Tennessee.

Depends.

If they mean the outcome will be what I want it to be, bleah. They have no clue what the outcome will be so it seems trite and dismissive, more about them wanting me to feel better for their comfort.

If they mean I will be able to navigate the outcome of "it" and that they will be there for support if the situation allows then it's kind of nice to hear.

Several people in my neighborhood have golf carts that they drive to the mailboxes or to the pool. Well, not to the pool lately since it's been closed for maintenance again for several months. (I want a refund on my HOA dues!) But then I live in Arizona so....

I think all the overwhelmedness is getting to me. I'm having some suicidal thoughts today. No plans. Just thoughts. Don't want to bug current T about it because it will probably pass and certainly without incident. I just want them to go away and leave me alone. Just not feeling the best today.

Many many years ago like in the 1930s my great uncle got dui when ridiing his horse home even though the horse knew the way home. He had been doing it for years. I think it was the increase in cars if a horse got startled a drunk person would just fall off. But if a horse is stratled even a sober person would have a hard time getting control.

Our postal service trialled golf carts as the sun is fierce but they were slower the motorbikes and harder to maneuver in the boggy ground after it rained.

I wasn't talking about workers of any sort - this seems to be a trend with younger people - I haven't seen anyone over 35 riding in them.

I’m thinking of the regular citizens that I know who have a golf cart and they are in that 35 age range. One of them lived in Florida though so does that count?

Millennials: killing top sheets and Applebee’s but golf carts are booming.

Words that NYT Spelling Bee does not accept today that are totally words: clew and alee.

I can live with clew. But they use alee *all the time in their crossword puzzles.*

I had nuns too—mine must have been a better class of spellers than yours.

I have now got my fitness app to tell me how many of a particular item I could eat given my exercise for the day. Tosay I hit 1419 blueberries.
