We were in the throws of phonics. I hope your nuns were better than the ones we had. Although that is not all that high of a bar to hit. Ours were awful.

Oh dear, phonics. When we did that, my mother was working the late shift at the hospital and supervising homework was my dad. Who was not a native English speaker. So we both ended up convinced of things like cake had a short A.

He was much better at math.

I'm afraid she thinks I'm overly dependent, far too needy, etc etc and feel ashamed that I do rely on her/therapy and also feel a lot of shame that I haven't "got myself figured out yet" at going on 59. Shame at feeling so broken this late in life. That I can't just magically be some better version of myself. Like I'm doing life wrong.
Hugs. I'm like that too even though I try to act like I'm independent in therapy. I'm younger than you and feel the shame although I'd never judge anyone else. For example I feel you're courageous and really don't see you as "broken" though I get why you'd feel you are. I feel like we're all trying to figure out ourselves, and I definitely feel this whole "I'm doing life wrong".

I should create an app that tells people when to stop eating blueberries before they go uh freudian!

I could live on fruit alone except I would get canker sores eventually. I know this from experimentation with it.

Morning couch. Mmm blueberries, I have some I am thinking about mixing in with yogurt once I get around to breakfast. I'm in chat this week meaning I start at 5am which is too early to eat in my book! It's soooo slow today too.

I have a really old chair for work with the pleather peeling off and everything. It rocks even though it isn't supposed to and I constantly lean back on it, even though it has wheels! One of these days it's going to break on me. Lol!

Me too. I don't miss much about going to the office to work, but I do miss putting frozen blueberries on top of yogurt. By the time lunch rolled around the blueberries would be partially thawed, so all crystally inside. Yum.

I enjoy eating frozen fruit, especially strawberries and blackberries. They still have their flavor but something about them being really cold just makes me happy.

I just got back from my final round of the recent pt. The PT wants me to see an orthopedic surgeon again because I'm not making much progress. I injured my knee 15 years ago, and they've never been able to figure out what happened. Maybe with the help of the PT, the doctor will have a better idea of what's wrong? I'm just tired of being in pain and feeling like there's no hope.

My mom would freeze (green seedless) grapes when I was a kid, and those were good. Haven't had them in a long time.

I eat a bowl of frozen fruit every night for dessert. I like grapes and mandarin oranges plain, but I put a teaspoon of balsamic vinegar on the rest (blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, peaches, mango, etc)
