I agree- I really liked Gina and Paul too!

You should see how the new T dresses.

Agreed, I feel he kind of *was* the show. She was good, too (so much better than her awful character on Law and Order). It seems like they should call it something different now. I only watched the first and second seasons, never saw the third.

Speaking of dressing, was talking to Dr. T about when he'd eventually return in person (timing unknown now after the plan for it to be in the next couple weeks). He said he'd miss not having to wear dress shoes. Me: "You know you don't have to go back to wearing dress shoes." He said he feels he's much more casual than the other T's in the office, especially now. I said sometimes it made me feel more relaxed if he's casual. Like today has wearing one of those 1/4 zip long-sleeve athletic tops in black (like an Under Armour-type one).

He said, "Didn't ex-MC always wear a tie?" Me: "hahaha, no..." Dr. T: "Oh you said he often wore polo shirts, right?" Me: "Yeah, like that one red one that looked about 15 years old that he probably still has."

I said I guessed I'd be dressed a bit different in person, "I'll be wearing shoes, for one." He said, "At least until you come into the office." I guess I took them off once or twice, but that's when I was wearing rain or snow boots.

We were a day early and had rice and beans last night. Though I may have a Mexican-style beer from a local brewery tonight (lager with some lime added during brewing).

I hated Paul -I found him unbearable. I liked his wife and Dianne Wiest. I only watched the ones with DW in them.

I suspect they are in better shape than ex-MC's polo shirt...just a guess. Quality clothing can last a long time. His shirt...was not.

I would wear clothes for 20 years if only I didn't smell like a barnyard animal.

I did not like the character—I usually wanted to smack him upside the head (along with several of his clients)—but I thought the actor was excellent at playing the role of a mediocre therapist.

Lt—is the polo shirt the one that offer tantalizing glimpses of mc’s chest hair?

Thank goodness for washing machines .

I reduced buying new clothing around three years ago. In the first year I bought two items (running shoes and gloves) and haven't bought anything either new/ second hand for almost 2 years now.

Currently wearing a London 2012 Olympic T-shirt my dad got in a sale and an old fuzzy cardigan my grandmother gave me.

I could see myself in Laura, Alex and Sophie.

My best T will always be Robin Williams.

I don't mind Gabriel Byrne-I despised the character.

I used to have a crush on Gabriel Byrne but I've never seen the show that you all are talking about. My celeb crushes are still Daniel Craig and Helena Bonham Carter at the moment.

Yep, that was the polo shirt I was thinking of, the red one that he left unbuttoned! There was also a black one and a couple others, but the red one seemed...lower cut or something.

Hm, is visible chest hair the male equivalent of Info's cleavage?

Dr. T doesn't wear polo shirts, but anything else with buttons or zippers, he buttons sufficiently and/or has a shirt on under it so nothing is ever showing.

Off to therapy with little idea of what to talk about today. Well, I did write down one dream I remembered. I'm sure we'll think of something to talk about. Then after that I'm going to visit my friend who just moved back to the area. Then home to sleeeeep since I've been up since 3 am haha. Stupid insomnia. I didn't take any melatonin last night. Trying to get off of it.

Well! That was a light and most enjoyable session today. They've been kinda heavy lately so I guess we were due for a light one. Overall a very positive, calm and peaceful hour and I feel pretty good right now.

I don't buy clothes very often either. Especially since I started working from home. Usually the only time I do is when I'm visiting my mom and sister in the midwest and they always want to go clothes shopping.

Went out to dinner last night with a friend. I haven't been out to dinner at a restaurant in more than 14 months. Everyone was really spread out. It felt good to eat at a restaurant again.
