Kit grabs a pillow and a blanket and curls up on the couch. Today is not a good day.

Just seeing if it works, folks. Couch has been quiet all day. Where's everyone at?

I am just having coffee after doing the morning pet chores. My little dog was especially fussy this morning

It took me 45 minutes to feed, clean litter and brush this morniing and i am thinking of getting an aquarium. When my daughters dog goes back i will rethink it.

It only took so long as the bucket in the kitchen with the dry dog food was empty so i had to go downstairs and open a new bag and refill

Im afraid i killed the couch yesterday. Im sorry if i made anybody feel unwelcome here by referring to the grief and loss forum. I do find such posts here very affecting. Heart-stoppingly so. Maybe trigger warnings would help. I will try to be more conservative on my part.

I have a telephone GP appt tomorrow. "Yep im still alive, now send over my refills!" They are opening up drugstore vaccines here, so i will schedule one soon. I just checked the website, i should be able to bus to one.

I was swimming and walking and napping and doing some writing. Nothing to do with you.

H and I were out running errands after I got off work, but I'm back home now!

I've been recovering from the night shift, prepping for a weekend trip with the BF, and getting addicted to Reddit. (r/AmITheA**Hole is really something to behold!)

I'm also busy pondering questions like, "how will the BF and I maintain a long-distance relationship for a year" and, "is it possible to tell in advance if your partner will make a decent parent?" and, "in a relationship with two partners wherein partner A makes twice the salary of partner B while working half the hours, how the heck do you divide the household chores?"

I have been driving to see my family. I didnt understand about the other forum, but it had no bearing on whether I posted or not. Driving did.

As for your housework question, the answer is you get a housekeeper, and just do the chores you really like, like cooking or gardening.

So yesterday evening I accidentally spilled some water on my laptop keyboard. The screen went black then started flashing white boxes. Eek! My brother in law told me to open it all the way up and lay it upside down on a towel for 4 hours to let it drain out and that worked, yay. it's working again!

I'm glad it seems to be OK! I did this recently a couple minutes before a Zoom therapy session...Dr. T said to not use my computer and have the session on my phone (which I did). I left it upside down for about 6 hours, and it turned out to be OK (though a small section of the keys no longer lights up, but that's OK!).

I thought it stood for for "today I effed up". Also nah, you didn't kill the couch.

The TIFU post helped me calm down after a horrible nightmare.
