I'm scared. I'm feeling pain in the same area where they found a cyst on my ovary last time. Last time, I was on Clomid, so it made sense. But I'm not on anything like that.

Oh dear, I don’t miss taking Clomid. It always made me feel awful. Do you think you can get an appointment with your gynecologist to get a pelvic or ultrasound done Scarlet? Cysts aren’t abnormal necessarily but if it affects your cycle it can be.

The weather here has decided winter needed an encore as well. It’s bad timing because I just found out that I’m apparently dangerously Vitamin D deficient, so I need to spend more time outside. I don’t want to be out when it’s cold though.

Went for a run, took a shower, ate something. Now I’m taking a walk while listening to an audiobook. Feeling a little bit better. Not great but not as bad.

I’m hoping I’ll re-regulate once I go over to the BF’s place for dinner, though he’s in the middle of something super important at work and will likely be there late.

Home from seeing L, we had a good session, spent the entire hour talking about my mom and that whole mess. Didn't have time to talk about the thing with H. Oh well, the mom thing upset me more. H and I already talked some more about his stuff so I'm feeling better about that anyway. Also, my sister called while I was driving there so we had a good talk too. Talking with this sister is similar to a therapy session (in the best possible way), so it's like I got a double dose of therapy today.

Plus L had 2 candles lit, so the smell is still on my shirt which when I get a whiff of it I can close my eyes and feel myself back in her office. It's a good feeling. And, my son is coming over in about an hour, which I'm looking forward to. Artie is having a pretty good day all things considered.

My parents brought me lunch today....Red Robin. A cheeseburger and fries. So good. Not so good for my Noom calories though but nice for a treat.

Mmmm I love their fries. Haven't been there in a long time, since I took my son there for his birthday one year. it's way over on the other side of town so I don't get over that direction much. I want to go now!

I talked to my dad and H and we decided I should go to the ER.

I couldn't see my ob/gyn because I need a referral from my PCP. I can't see my PCP until May 8th. I can't see any doctor at my clinic until April 28th. My insurance only covers one urgent care, but it's far away.

Yeah, I know I was just saying the other day how I had $400 left until my next payday.......but I decided to sponsor another child through Compassion International. A 4 year old boy named Nahom from Ethiopia. He is exactly the same age as my sponsored girl....they have the same birthday, month, day, and year. They are from the same Church/Child Development Center. That's why I knew it was meant to be. I share a birthday with them too but just month and day obviously, not the year. I was going to wait until next year when more of my debt is paid off but he is so darn cute, and when I saw his birthday I was like, this is meant to be. So I sponsored him starting yesterday. I've already written him three letters and sent him a birthday gift. Yeah, I'll probably have to dip into savings this pay period but that's okay. Most of the time I won't have this many doctor appointments and vet appointments. He's super cute. I love his eyes and his little mohawk.

Yeah, their fries are good! I love the seasoned salt. Unfortunately they didn't put any of that in the to-go order. Bummer. But that's okay. Unfortunately, they are way too close to me! #Temptation. I'm going there on May 5th with my bestie for her birthday. She picked the restaurant and I wasn't about to say, that doesn't fit well with my Noom needs. I haven't seen my bestie since before Christmas. If she wanted to meet me in Oklahoma City I would have figured out how to get there! Kit

There used to be a bar/restaurant named Krieger's near where I used to work when I still lived in Missouri. They had the BEST seasoned fries, me and my best work buddy back then used to go there at least once a week for lunch. We were such regulars that when our favorite waitress saw us come in the door, she would put in our order (because we always got the same thing anyway) and would grab a pitcher of iced tea and 2 glasses for us before we even sat down. Those were fun days!

Ha ha I still remember what we always got: I got a grilled ham & cheese sandwich with fries, and he would always get a blackened chicken sandwich with fries.

Two thoughts, Scarlet. One, that is insane that you need a referral for a gynecologist. I’m genuinely shocked. Second, I hope that everything turns out okay.

I am a huge fan of Red Robin and their fries, but more so for the campfire sauce. In my opinion Arby’s has the best fries. The Arby’s in my metro area is really weird; it has stuff on the menu that no other store does. The rotisserie chicken and zucchini muffins are my favorite.

If it isn't for a routine checkup and she doesn't have the gyn listed as her PCP, it is not unusual for some insurances to require referral.

Scarlett, hope all turns out okay.

I hope it's nothing serious and you feel better soon, Scarlet.

That sucks about not being able to get into a regular doctor sooner. Also, does your insurance realize that by requiring you to get the referral, it will likely have to pay more for you be examined in the ER? (My husband works for an insurance company--not making any sort of coverage decisions--and one of the campaigns is to try to get people to go to urgent care or their regular doctor instead of the ER. But you don't really have that option...)

The weather is madness - it was 70 degrees here one day and snowing the next and now cloudy and rainy.

Zucchini muffins at an Arby’s? Interesting.

I grilled a cheese sandwich for dinner to celebrate my staggering to the end of classes. This semester was exhausting, probably because no spring break (cancelled because of covid and the fear students would travel and bring the virus back—but with all the classes on Zoom they could be traveling constantly, spring break or no).

I like rain, and cold, and gray. Sun...eh.

If you didn't complain about insomnia at night - I would think you are a vampire. Or maybe you are complaining about not sleeping during the day but posting it at night to throw us off....
