Hello, everyone, still alive, though coming under pressure from Visa to take a leave of absence from work. I am not pro, but I see her reasons.

My new snack is chia pudding made with pineapple and coconut juice.

There are some good cannoli bakeries where I live. I like them unless they have chocolate chips in them - why oh why do people put chocolate chips into otherwise delightful treats

I don't know about you, ATAT, but for me taking a leave without going into a structured program like an intensive outpatient or partial hospitalization program would just make things worse. Just more time to spend by myself list on my thoughts, which is how I get in trouble to begin with. My work is one thing that forces me to stay halfway functional, when things are really bad. YMMV of course. And taking a leave of absence to enter treatment is a great option. (Maybe that is what Visa meant, I'm not sure.) Either way, do what is right for you.

Its a few doors away in either direction from Dennys and Chipotles, and down the street from a Dollar Tree.

I might actually get out of the house this spring.

I found the LOA I took in the fall of 2020 to be helpful. At first it was difficult because work did provide some structure, but after that it was just a huge relief to not have to worry about work-related things for a while. I did do a IOP program for a week and a half but overall did not find it helpful at all. It might have been better if it was in-person though.

I love cannoli i havent had it in a long time since i moved to this place so about 4 years and the supermarkets stopped selling them. I did try a local italian restaurant but they were more a pizzeria and their pastas werent really great. I sometimes miss living in a big city.

I dont know it sounds like it. It has gotten better when i started to eat more. Ans the pain at the injection site has settled down a fair bit.

It has cooled down so incan start working in my garden again we had nearly 3 weeks of a severe heatwave. The weather bureau had a section on its site titled ' we are getting better at predicting weather but the weather is becoming more unpredictable' which to me is just an excuse as to how they get the weather so wrong a local independent meteorologist has better luck becuase he uses the US Naval weather information which the govt weather guys dont.

I am expecting a visit from the ex today to hand back the affadavit for the divorce and hopefully his half of the fee.

Nice to add frozen fruit (blueberries etc) and dried cranberries (if you like them), just before eating.

I don't like added fruit to my chia pudding - throws off the texture for me. I do add frozen fruit to plain greek yogurt or just frozen fruit with a teaspoon of balsamic vinegar

Ex didnt come his surgery has been postponed and he didnt even bother to contact our daughter to let her know she had to ring him after she waited all day for him to turn up, and me of course.

Landlady is changing terms, which is illegal, but of course I gotta agree if I don't want to end up on the street. Easy for folks to tell me not to be a pushover, and I'd ordinarily agree, but it's terrifyingly easy to fall into rough sleeping.

Trying to ask friends if I can move stuff to their family flats even though they can't take me in.

As usual, shelters are full with many people struggling in worse situations.

Hi everyone.

I'm struggling today with SH thoughts. I was struggling last night too. I reached out to a couple of friends last night and one was helpful. The other one tried but just didn't hit the mark.

Today I still feel really bad (like thinking of going to the hospital bad). I texted my T to let her know what my thoughts were about the SH and stuff.


She asked me to do a pros and cons list. Which I did.




T responded with:

How else could you feel comforted? Knowing everyone that knows you loves you? (This is probably not true.) Getting a manicure/pedicure/massage. (Yeah that's not going to happen)

Then she went on

If you give in, that comfort feeling won't last very long for sure, before the self condemnation comes. What would you tell one of the children you give to (I sponsor children through Compassion International) if they told you they felt they needed to hurt themselves? Is there anything that could motivate you to not do it? For example, if I gave you say $25 to send to one of your kids in need, could that buy a week of no harm?

Okay now I think my T is weird. Or misguided. Or something. Weird that she would try to bribe me. Although at this point I don't think it would even work. I don't know how to respond to her. It's very strange to me. I haven't responded yet.


I even broke down and texted former T although I know there's like a snowball's chance in heck that she will respond. This pain is too great.


I already tried retail therapy. I did a donation to one of my sponsored kiddos before T's ridiculous bribe came to me on text, and I reorganized my office bookcase since I am not busy at work. I feel like crap. I don't know how to respond to my T. And each breath is painful.
