Yeah, that's what I think. But I always set it up and then she joins. So that should be okay.

My mother died yesterday afternoon.

I tried not to sleep at all last night so the last day she was alive wouldn't end for me, but eventually I had to give in, if only for the 2 1/2 hours I did get.

I know a lot of you didn't/don't have good mothers and/or good relationships with them, but

I'm so sorry for your loss, @@. What you said inside the TW is, ultimately, true. It's a unique relationship. It doesn't mean you won't ever be loved again, but not in exactly that same way.

I'm here if you need me. Happy to procrastinate on grading group projects for a worthy cause.

Sending hugs @@.

I have a session with R in about 45 minutes, and it's the kind of session where I would really appreciate pocket riders.

I am super anxious today. I know why. But it is out of my control. I haven't taken any anti-anxiety medication yet. I am trying to manage it without it. I might give in though and take some. I could reach out to T but it is too long to text so I don't know.

Thanks, CNS and Kit.

I posted an update in IST. It wasn't the session I expected to have, which was in some ways a relief, but finding words to explain the impact her analogy had on me in the moment was challenging. At least I still have a therapist, which is what I was worried about.

Today I paid off my car! It felt really good to make that payment! Five years went by fast!

Thank you. Especially since I only have 26,000 miles on it! Yippie! Usually at the five year mark I'm at 150,000 miles. But my commute has changed drastically in the past five years.

I am less anxious because I took some anxiety medication. The anxiety is still in me but it's not so intense. Thanks!
