Here's rounds 1-11 of my current project. I'm loving it so far; and this yarn is so silky soft! It's making me giggle though; the round just outside the ivy green, depending on how you look at it, looks like either chicken feet or M's hahahaha!

Yep! It’s one show I go back to watching over and over again, since I became a fan at around 16. Channel 4 would run two episodes every morning after Everyone loves Raymond.

I'm back to work this morning! Well, kinda. I have to wait for them to unlock my computer. When you're on leave they lock it immediately so you can't log on, then on your return to work date, your supervisor has to submit an escalated ticket to get it unlocked faster than 24 hours. And you can't report your return until that day. Seems kinda silly to me, that it can be locked so immediately/easily but it takes extra work to get it unlocked. oh well, that's just the way this cookie crumbles, and all that. haha

Thanks Lost! So far so good, my boss knew exactly who to call, it didn't take very long at all to get me unlocked and working. 1/2 the day is done already so only 4 hours to go after my lunch break that I'm on now.

Glad it's going OK so far! I imagine it helps that you work from home and can rest.

Forty-four spam calls yesterday. (Zero on the 4th.) GAH. They start right on. the.dot. at 8 a.m.

But I am going for a long weekend with one of my besties, which will be fun and restful...and leaving phone on silent. So it is mostly just annoying.

Hello Everyone--

Been away on a mission trip to an Indian Reservation. It's my second time there but the first time I really immersed myself in the sites and the culture. It was amazing.

Had to work 5 days in a row starting about 16 hours after I returned so was too exhausted to check in. I figured out today was my first day off (no traveling, mission trip work, or actual work) since 6/21!! No wonder I was so tired.

I feel so alone. L's off until Tuesday, T is gone until Saturday, and I tried to talk to J, but she wasn't helpful. I don't need T and J, I need L! No one else can help me with the rupture and her leave.

This is going to sound super cliche and I am cringing a bit before I type it, but you can help yourself. You are the only person who can profoundly shift your painful feelings. You mentioned in another post that you don't journal, but reach out to L daily. I think that's a good example of what I mean. Whilst I don't think journaling is the only option, engaging with yourself without the presence of an other would really help you increase your awareness and capacity for pain. L clearly does a good a job of soothing you and you are very committed to the relational aspect of the work, but you with you will be the place where you learn to not be alone or to be ok with being alone. L's pregnancy has had a catastrophic effect on you, no one but you feels that and you are best placed to start to help you. You with you isn't an easy place and it's terrifying for some, but being in a state of relying on reaching out to the other for soothing is also precarious. Cliche over, please resume normal business.
