I need to watch more Frasier.

I catch the occasional episode on breakfast TV, but haven't watched it all the way through.

Which episode does Niles sing reggae in, Lemon?

my office is a huge mess. I have poetry books, a couple of reference books, and several issues of writer's digest laid out on every flat surface in here that didn't already have a resident. ha. what a mess. but i am loving it. this year-long challenge has given me the motivation to study my craft and work harder at improving. I need to straighten this room up though. I almost need to put up one of those folding table thingies in here in front of my bookshelves where I can put all the open books/magazines in one place. Then again that would make my office claustrophobic since it's not that big of a room so I likely will not do so. I'll figure something out!

Lost, its S3.E2

Shrink Rap
Episode aired Sep 26, 1995

Its near the end, he sings part of the harry belafonte song Day-o, as the brothers are making fun of their therapist. Nothing like a mutual enemy to bring people together!

Sorry for jumping in! Lemon and i are sister wives to Niles!

We know how that ended for Kody.

You’re a bigger fan than I am Una O. I would have no clue of the specific episode. 🕵️

The show is timeless. I also love it because I grew up watching it from the age of 16. When you rewatch you notice things you never noticed before.

Tried to watch Steinfiend as Netflix bought it, but I didn’t make it beyond episode 4.

I complain about my neighbours: the accordion player and the screaming child, but they also have to put up with my musicals . Currently in a Phantom of the Opera phase. Last night I was watching the recording of The prince of Egypt, but never finished it.

I’m grateful I have a safe space of my own, that I have food in my cupboard, but right now I’m sad If I’m being honest. Just can’t unsee things.

I’ve not been in long term therapy for almost a year now. Just been spending my money on my new obsession Cornishware pottery instead.

I remember the Caribbean comment and that it also started in part because of a plant.

Did you ever watch Cheers? I liked Everybody loves Raymond and dipped in and out of the King of Queens.

My mother did not like us talking about Everybody Loves Raymond. It hit waaay too close to home.

Cheers was too idk beautiful people for me. And im too much like Cliff Clavin, the postman.

King of queens was great because of jerry stiller.

I am studying for a mandatory continuing ed exam and annoyed because the person or team who put together this professional document representing a state organization missed or did not understand that they should have used "complementary" instead of "complimentary." I am not offering anything for free or flattering folks, even though I am usually pretty friendly. Although...if that's the biggest problem I have today, it's a pretty good day. But still annoying.

Hey Una. Thanks for asking. Dad is hanging in there. He’s doing okay so far since his voice box has been removed. He has his TEP to be able to speak. Keeping his stoma clean is a lot of maintenance but it became routine for him. He’s a fighter.

Oh fuzzy i hate when that happens!

I exorcise a lot of my grammar demons on a couple of facebook groups, like "people incorrectly correcting other people" and something like "look out theres an s, here comes an apostrophe".

I once saw a salon sign that managed to misuse both words in one sign.

Baking peach muffins this afternoon. They look very strange. The tops on the first batch looked nice when they first came out of the oven but they "fell" and now the things look like they are wearing flat hats haha. I had to use bisquick because I didn't feel like going out to get the usual flour that I use, maybe that was the problem. Too much 'floof powder' in it or something. At least they taste good.

Thanks for this!

It's possible that it's temperature-related, Artie.

From what I have read, many recipes advise baking at a higher temperature first before turning the heat down, so that the top has a chance to set.

In practice, this means 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes, and then down to 350 for 25-30.

Also, there's a fair amount of moisture in peaches, so that could be a factor.

Well, I had a therapy session. We were the only ones in the building, I think. Maybe that's part of why it felt more relaxed and chatty than usual.

I learned quite a bit about how he manages his wardrobe. Like how he replaces all of his socks at once. He did have some he considered lucky that he held onto for a while after getting new ones, just in case. This tied into my OCD-related fears of getting rid of things (though he confirmed he doesn't have OCD). And because he's been wearing jeans to the office since the pandemic, he's gotten ride of all but three pairs of his dress pants. Etc.

It's raining around here, too. And I prefer to catch my deals online. Hope you figure out something fun to do!

You guys did therapy on Memorial Day? No long weekend for him. Or you. I like to shop online but with the numbers on my scale increasing lately. (Changing seasons of life and hormones crazy again). I have to try everything on and I’m horrible about returning stuff. One of my new favorite stores is Torrid. They have a lot of different sizes starting with 8/10 and going all the way to 4X. I like them because they don’t discriminate. They sell sizes to accommodate a wide range of bodies.
